It was pretty obvious it was going down when the Knicks cancelled their conference call today. They would only do that if they had better news on the horizon. That's how MSG works.

No nate Ariza or Frye--to me these guys as of now are untouchables. Lee and Sweetney are fine by me. Im a supporter of Sweetney, but the C position is a bigger need.


lee should be an untouchable young player also, I have a good feeling about this guy..

yea i doubt nate is involved, in my mind, nate is pretty much untouchable

Man, this news is tricling out slowly... I read the RealGM boards, and saw that same quote (good post, DJ).

I am racking my brain guessing about who we gave up though...
Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Wow. I've been pretty quiet this offseason, figured I'd wait til there was actual news to talk about...this was not the news I was hoping for.
I really don't want Curry. I personally prefer Sweetney over Eddy straight up, much less give up Lee or anything of value. I felt the needs we needed to adress were defense and rebounding in particular, and I'm not sure how Eddy helps us with either.
Ah well, I guess I'll wait to see what the deal is before I complain too much. Hope it all pans out.

Much better. Put it this way, I have a lot of faith in John Paxson and any deal he makes will be the benefit of the Bulls. He will not hurt the team.

However, I can see more changes (signing or trading) before the season opens, but again this is just my opinion.

If Paxson was as angry as they're mentioning on the ReamGM boards, it sounds like we got the better of the deal.

I don't understand how it can be TT and anybody else, the salaries don't match up. Not even with a sign and trade.
