we won't win a playoff series with the roster the way it is now...

that doesn't bother me because I assume Isiah doesn't consider this his "finished product"

Frye's Minn. Summer league statline looks like this... 23 mpg 13.8 ppg 5 rpg 1.6 bpg on 60% shooting. Stats came from Draft Expess. Those are not bad stats at all. He will always need to play alongside a bigger player to keep the pressure off of him, but the kid can play. He's a 4, who could be serviceable at the 5 ala KT. Skillwise, this guy can shoot the 15 fter, he has a jumphook with either hand and given time he'll be better than all right. He still has a little finesse to him. I don't think he'll ever shed that, but as long he p[lays alongside someone who can protect his back, he's the man.
All this stuff about 4 and 5 should be thrown out the window. There is no more 5 in the NBA. The last of the 5 is playing in Miami. LOL, and when did being a finesse player become a bad thing? With all the rule chances I feel for anyone who is capable of taking their guy off the dribble. The days of a guy like Shaq bumping someone down in the lane is coming to an end. Tim Duncan is a what? I tell you what too, I want the ball in this guy hand in the last minutes of games. He hit FTs with amazing accuracy (if anyone doesn't think this is a big deal please see last season playoffs, the Knicks should lease Frye and Lee out to other teams to put on free throw clinics).

We won't even play a regular season game with the roster the way it is now.

Exactly my point...
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

If he gives us this during the season, I'll be extremely happy.
marbs should get his normal 20, craw will chip in 15 and Q will contribute 15 as well.

We give the 5 headed PF machine 12 points a game and that's 75 points a game.

if jj, Ariza and TT can add a combined 12 - 15...I'm ecstatic!

Hey, in this instance being a finesse player doesn't hurt him. He's not the traditional throw him the ball in the post player...yet. He's a very capable offensive player. I like his offensive skills alot. The finesse comes from not getting in the paint, getting dirty and grabbing rebounds. That's not a bad thing if you have someone to do the dirty work in the middle. That's not a knok on the guy, just an observation.
