I dont understand how people are claiming that Stromile Swift doesnt have a heart and Kwame Brown is soft, but glorifying Steven Hunter!!
I think Steven Hunter is worst than the other 2, because he hasnt shown me he's better and the only reason he will get a big pay check this offseason is because he is an athletic 7 footer.

ARe you serious?????? dude 254 block shots and possibly the same amound of points and rebounds as the other two in less playing time is not worth it???? get your head out of where it is at. the numbers speak for themselves. Hunter is much better hands down..

So your telling me Steven Hunter is a better player than Stromile Swift and/or Kwame Brown??? Did he ever average over 5pts per game? Did he ever average over 3 rebounds per game? Did he ever average over 14 pts per game in his 4 seasons in the NBA? The answer to all these questions are NO! So if Steven Hunter is so valuable, how couldnt he get minutes on a 22 win Orlando Magic team? Or how couldnt he play center for the Suns when they were in dire need of one? Why did he only average 4.6 ppg, when Steve Nash gets everyone involved in the offense? Because Steven Hunter Sucks

Stromile Swift has no heart ?!? Heres some Swift Highlights for the Non-Swift believers

http://s24.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=2NIHK3O4AKPJX2E8IX8OS0FIP5

This kid is an animal!!! This is what TT is supposed to be like...I'm a believer...I want both.

I still think swift is worth only $5.1 mill to us (to other teams maybe more, but on the knicks, he's only needed as a second unit floor monster with sweets, crawford, Ariza, JYD and MoT/Rose)

I'm not sure I'd subtract anybody else, maybe MoT or Rose, but I like Mo's Post up game (he's got an equal chance of coming back in shape as sweets does).

Kwame...I'm not so sure I'd give up sweets for him...I've seen sweets get to the line and I've seen him play with passion and improve leaps and bounds.

Plus, he only makes like 2 million a year.

With Rose and JYD equal in effort and tenacity, (and appearantly in salary as well) I'm thinking we could lose one of them for Kwame, but looking at our team, there really isn't anybody they could take that I'd be willing to give up...over the weekend after a binger and some brews I was tempted by the sweets/JYD for Kwame deal (sign and trade netting Kwame 7 - 8 million a year) but I'm not sure if it's worth paying that kind of money to a project.

There have been other young bigs that could be had for the MLE and I think they should be taken into consideration.

Right now, we could go with a starting squad of:
Marbs/Craw/Nate, Q/Craw, TT/Q/Ariza, Sweets/MoT/Rose, Frye/Rose/JYD

Suppose we can make a trade? It would have to give up Rose or MoT and JYD/Sweets? But are we willing to committ $8 Mill?

We still have Butler who is our other project.

Hmmm...I'm not sure...swift I want (based solely off of that collection of clips) for the MLE, but if we get swift, we should be prepared to lose Rose (5.5 mill)/JYD (5.6 mill)/MoT (8.5 mill) for Kwame and start him alongside Frye.

Kwame can bang and frye can fly.

If I'm Washington, I'm taking sweets only and maybe JYD to fill out the salary prepared to pay Kwame (8 - 9 million).

But the Zeke deal of deals would be MoT + First round pick (spurs) for Kwame, keep sweets and play in the eastern conference finals.

Marbs, Q, TT, Frye, Kwame
Nate, Craw, Ariza, Sweets, Rose
heck, I don't know...somebody help me out here.

I forgot to even put Swift out there...wait a minute, maybe just going after Kwame clears our glut of PF's?

I think I like sweets better than Kwame though.

It's really all about hte MLE at this point...If I'm not mistaken we also have a trade exception we can use...Hunter and Swift both for about 5 mill..we save penny and tt for the trading deadline (adding sweets if necessary)...

I'm so confused...

So lets say we get Both Kwame and Swift, but we lose Rose, Sweet, and Taylor. How many wins can we have with that squad?

a line up of:
Marbs/Q/TT/Frye/Kwame
Nate/Craw/Ariza/Swift/Lee

Wildcards: JYD, Butler

45 wins? With the right coach.

But Lee and Frye need to be NBA ready NOW.

Plus, we are still in rebuilding mode.

the answer to your questions is simple, the same reason why Sweetney spent a lot of time on the bench while Kurt and others were getting mad minutes. Hunter showed that he can produce with decent minutes. when he is allowed to shoot the ball, his points are way up, but with all the shooters they had in Phoenix, he wasn't allowed to do that. Kwame had the green light to be all he could be, but he failed...I would much rather go with Swift then Kwame

Wilcox comes cheaper and is more realistic, the kid just needs time, put him and Frye out there and your going to get dunked on

Robinson, Ariza, Lee, Wilcox, Frye, play them 10 minutes together press and run, run run......

Then we have something

I agree with what you are saying Dido. But to say that Kwame is soft and to say that we need to go after Hunter. Who btw, got punked and pushed around by Nazr isn't a much better solution. If I have to take either one of them, I would take Kwame because of his low post presence and the "upside" he still has. Personally my choice would be Dalembert but that isn't going to happen unless we take some serious salary back.
