A different CArter?????

Carter never went anywhere. He has always been this good. He just didn't like it in Toronto and stoped performing. I wished to have CArter in N.Y....

We don't need another TT in N.Y.

Shareef and Kwame are exactly what TT is....Soft...

We need guys that are agile and guys that can get physical in the paint....and dive on the floor for the ball a la JYD...BUT TALLER...

kwame will never put up the stats sar has accomplished.

..........and kwame was on a winning team!

honestly, give me Kwame over Shareef any day of the week. SAR has maxed his potential, doesn't play a lick of defense and can't score inside against bigger players. Kwame can.

I don't see him as a great fit for this team, unlike the Nets.

Is this a joke? Are people actually disappointed that Shareef is off the market? I say YES! Thank you Nets! I wouldn't want that soft, no D forward anywhere near my team. He's not the type of player for this team. Glad hes off the market now. We should focus on Swift imo. I like Brown's upside, but any player who doesn't love basketball worries me.

SAR is soft, SAR sucks, blabh blabh blabh, NOW SOMEBODY WOUlD RATHER HAVE KWAME BROWN OVER HIM BECAUSE HE CAN SCORE INSIDE!!!!???!!!

This is beyond idiotic, Kwame Brown has yet to anything well.

The reaoson this was even posted is because the Nets get a lot better if they deal is ture, as they get the one thing they needed, a PF.

Thus making them even more better then us. But that is beside the point.

People need to stop gettin defensive and bash every player that does not end up on the Knicks.
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

This thing started rolling on it's own. I'm not interested in SAR, I'm just interested in the truth. The guy posted something that has yet to be verified and I asked for proof of what they are putting down and we got this thing. I still haven't seen anything. I guess I shouldn't take this threads literally. People put headings up to attact attention, no wonder I see people with thousands and thousands of posts. We all know that the Nets are interested in Rahim, he just not to the Nets...yet. But can you blame me for calling into question the actual heading???

It is not official according to Dave D'Allesandro in today's Star-Ledger. He says "the second phase in the pursuit of SAR will take place next week, when the free agent forward will visit New Jersey, a team official said yesterday. Coach Lawrence Frank had a long meeting at the player's Atlanta home Friday, and his wife, Dee, said there was no specific date planned for a visit, the team expects to have the couple here on Wednesday or Thursday..."
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

So who are the Nets giving up in this trade? Or is this a free agent signing?

People are delusional. SAR is a good player, he is definitely better than any PF on our squad hands down. Is he the PF we need? Thats debateable, but we could use him and benefit from his services.

Kwame is a bigger risk for us, and if he turned out to be as good as SAR we would all be thrilled.

It was made up. People have taken the Nets inierest in Rahim and ran with it. Just because you like a player, doesn't automatically mean he's on your team. I could care less what the Nets do, it's that it was put out that the Nets had him and they used ESPN to make their point. What's real is real and this thread wasn't...

I don't read everything everyone writes or hear everything everyone says...

But has one single other person said they saw this "report" from ESPN?

Playing with Shaq and Wade would sound great to me. There is a rumor Miami is interested on him, and they are closer to a championship than NJ...

Ok, so in a nutshell, ESPN lied about 'Rahim to the Nets'? If so shame on them! That's stupid.
