What was interesting is that he kind of backed off on trading Tim Thomas. I wonder if he's blowing smoke, or would really rather hold on to Tim this year.

Thomas was pretty impressive down the stretch, I wonder if he has visions of him out there running down the wing in the upbeat o.

He can't say he is desperate to trade TT because that would hurt his chances of getting a good deal. Isiah may recognize that TT is a contract year player and he knows he will play hard for them because of this. Then, when his value has improved dramatically, he trades him, not only because he is playing well, but because he is an expiring contract. Actually, TT had a terrible year last season, but the other seasons he had been at least solid (not superstar like his talents indicate, but at least played well enough. If Isiah wants to keep him AT THE RIGHT PRICE, and that means not even close to the money he is getting, I wouldn't be against it. TT is at the very least a decent player. If you give him the decent contract he deserves, he is the right player for your team...

the Isiah interview and the Frye interview with Mike and the Mad Dog are both up at http://www.wfan.com/
okay, I just listened to this.
did anyone catch what was said at the end about Loyalty and the Miami coaching job? Mike and the Mad Dog implied that Stan Van Gundy would be fired and Zeke basically confirmed it! Also, it was implied that PAT RILEY would coach the Heat next seaosn!!!!!!

Pat the Rat strikes again! Maybe he needs the money from head coaching to afford a new hair dye. Vomitous beige doesn't seem to be working for him.
