stop bitching....Frye is a baller, and I like the fact that he is a very intelligent young man...Can't you see how he handled himself during the interview..?????

Suns can't give up #21. They didn't have pick last year. They sold it to Bulls.
Aren't you allow to sell picks all you want. I thought you couldn't trade consecutive picks in the same trade. Ala, Knicks with the Marbury trade. 2 1st round picks.

That is why the Lakers win championships and the Knicks don't.
Because they couldn't trade up for Frye?

I don't believe it.

They were saying all day on sports radio out here that the Lakers wanted to move up and get Channing Frye.

I heard that's what Zeke was holding out for, and two people I trust told me they heard it on 1050 in NYC. We'll see.

I heard that too. Utah made the trade because Frye wouldn't work out for them after repeated request. Once I heard that and DJ's posting of the Frye interview. I felt better about the pick because alot of guys wanted to take the guy everyone calls soft.

I was shocked by this pick. I thought it was rather un-Isiah like to take the safe way out the way he did. Isn't Isiah supposed to be the type to think outside the box? Maybe if he didn't acquire Crawford and Q we wouldn't have to pray that Green and Granger don't become huge stars.

Frye is a nice player but his ceiling isn't much higher than a mediocre PF. Like we needed another PF?

I can't wait to hear Isiah talk about the importance of blocked shots when he's already on record saying that they are an overrated statistic.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

The Knicks inability to get a big man via trade is more responsible for this than anything.. I'm dissapointed because of who was available.

How is Frye going to guard anyone in the post with that body?

Zeke didn't think this was the safe pick, he thought it was the best player. He had these guys work out, you know?

I also believe he is under pressure from Dolan to make the playoffs next year.

He's long and he'll weigh 260 or 265 by the season. Who else will we have in the paint with him? That's the question.

I am going to take Bilas word when he believed that Frye was the best player on the board and that was before Portland and Toronto, and the Bobcats.

The folks at ESPN predraft thought he was the 5th best player in this draft...

I dunno, maybe Green will be around long enough for us to pick him... or MAYBE the Q trade will eventually be Q and Green for KT...

why are we selling Frye short? if he turns out to be a 18/10/3 guy that is star level player to me. Frye can be that player.

how do you project him to be a double digit rebound guy when he only averaged 7 at the collegiate level?

I am absolutley shocked that Granger and Greene are still available.
We will NEVER win with Marbury as our cameo guy.

Nets take athletic Antoine Wright at 15. Nice pick.
We will NEVER win with Marbury as our cameo guy.
