How about BD? That guy is the biggest disaster!

Davis is just as bad as fields i mean the guy cant move anymore or penetrate

Davis didn't play that bad. That charge was a bad call..he got clobbered before he even ran guy over. Add to that he is only playing out of necessity being injured. He seems to start the game playing at a good level and as minutes mount gets worse and worse. Injury effect.

BD was really bad how many times a game does he throw the ball into the defenders hands.

Fields: "Guys need to step up, driving and knocking down shots."

I really hope Fields had a mirror 5 inches from his face when he said that.

Dwayne Wade hit WAY to many open J's today. Like I said during the Heat game @ the Ultimate meetup, someone should have fouled him hard enough to leave him disemboweled.

Dammit, we need EVERY win down this stretch, and I despise the idea of Miami having swept us for the season series. That leaves a castor oil- like taste in my mouth.

I swear to God that the Knicks better beat the Celtics worse that any team has been blown the hell out in the past decade. I want to see Knick elbows to the throats of those clover-wearing pansies on Tuesday, and stellar performances from every Knicks player who takes the floor. No less should be tolerated as acceptable.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Knicksfan wrote:Foe, go kiss Heat's lower back all you wan't, but I tell you that Miami won't win the championship because of the same reason they haven't been winning much, especially against good defensive teams, in the last month. The Heat feed off their defense to get them enough possessions for easy ISO plays. They get many of those because of their D. But when facing good defensive teams, they cut their easy transition or iso baskets and make them beat them from the outside. Thats how Chicago and Boston beat them lately. We were doing just that until we stopped playing basketball in the 4th and could only throw prayers while playing matador defense. Once the Heat got the 7pt lead, they were confident enough to shoot killer jumpers, but had we kept the game close, those jumpers don't fall and we get a chance to win.

Miami is beatable, but you have to play the whole 48 minutes and have a reliable 2nd scoring option. Thats why we need Lin/Stat. Miami can be all the greatness you want to believe, but truth is, they are beatable and NY had the premium oportunity today. Unfortunately they missed, but they have only themselves to blame.

My Point is this. to say the performance is disgusting or inexcusable and you are losing to the 3rd best team in the league in a pretty competitive game is over reaction. You say the loss is inexcusable then in your 2nd paragraph lay down excuses why the Knicks Losing is acceptable. (Lin, Stat being injured).

No, no, no, See our pick and rolls don't count because they ended with Iso and their Iso's do count as ball movement because they started with pick and rolls.

SHUT UP MEG!!!!!!!!!

Of course you have to execute properly. Just cuz you fail on one or two plays, doesn't mean you just lose composure and start jacking guarded long range shots!!! As usual you bring nothing to the conversation but garbage. If I actually say something that doesn't make sense from a BB perspective then you can say something, but i'm not saying anything that is wrong from a pure BB perspective and you know it. I never said anything about MDA or any of that crap. I'm just commenting on what the team did today.

If the team plays horrible offense but makes shots, it's OK with some of you. Now they lose a game with horrible offensive execution and bad decision making and miss those same kind of shots, then we should be allowed to say it.

1-6 FG 4 assists and 5 AWFUL turnovers! Very solid game - REALLY?????????????????

I'm talking in comparison to Fields. He did some good things. defense, some nifty passes. He's injured out there so I can't put him on the same level as Fields.

Yes, Woodson made a mistake in taking Shumpert out for Fields, when Iman was just ON FIRE on defense. Its like taking Melo out after he scores 9 straight points to get a lead. Shump was just turning the game over and the team was ready to follow because they were getting their defense going.

I think Fieds should never see the last 7 minutes of a 4th quarter ever again. Sadly, he brings nothing but momentum-killing play. I liked him last season, but this one he is a liability on both ends. Terrible shoting, matador defense and horrible decisions when we are making a run.

I will say this about Davis he played good D and is really the Knicks best defender running with guys of screens. I have notice that all season and they can use that going forward. Although out sized he needs to be the guy that runs with Korver, Miller, or Allen. The Knicks need for Shump and Smith to attack more.

So who are you calling out with all this "bad offense" that has them 13-5? Woody? Thats funny. You would never call out MDA for HORRENDOUS DEFENSE! Or His dumb offense that did not fit this team. Interesting ....

great convo. I think it's a difference in opinion in if ISO Melo is actually bad basketball. I personally think it can be very effective because it plays to our biggest offensive weapon. At the end of the day, it comes down to hitting your open shots. Regardless if you are running MDA or Woodson's offense. We just didn't hit shots today. We've seen this story with both offenses. I think our role players were really tight tonight on offense. Especially Shump and Fields. Nerves got to them.

I agree somewhat. The knicks made their 4th qtr run with BD on the bench and Shump/Melo running the point. BD = weakest link. Fields is awful too. As well as Feast-Famine-Itis-JR.

Who can we rely on other than Melo? Nobody. Hence we can not win without a PG/Second Option.

How about his offense? Baron play'd some solid defense as well. Fields did zilch on both ends. He was in his own level of ineptitude today.

yeah, i don't think it's an inexcusable loss at all. knicks played hard, didn't necessarily play well. but they competed and fought hard.

need to work on the rebounding against elite teams. amar'e coming back could help that. and amar'e being a second scorer could REALLY help balance out the lineup.

i hope amar'e can get well this season, but he shouldn't rush back if it's gonna screw up his career.

knicks really miss Lin, too.

landry has GOT to step up or ride the bench.

JR and Shump are defensive demons. JR played great, shump looked hesitant on offense.

tyson needs to get involved more - teams can't stop him inside and they'll use up all their fouls trying to stop him.

melo is playing out of his mind, really rising to the occassion, but clearly ran out of gas at the end there.

knicks played hard, good game, hate the heat.
