Davis didn't play that bad. That charge was a bad call..he got clobbered before he even ran guy over. Add to that he is only playing out of necessity being injured. He seems to start the game playing at a good level and as minutes mount gets worse and worse. Injury effect.

BD was really bad how many times a game does he throw the ball into the defenders hands.

My Point is this. to say the performance is disgusting or inexcusable and you are losing to the 3rd best team in the league in a pretty competitive game is over reaction. You say the loss is inexcusable then in your 2nd paragraph lay down excuses why the Knicks Losing is acceptable. (Lin, Stat being injured).

I'm talking in comparison to Fields. He did some good things. defense, some nifty passes. He's injured out there so I can't put him on the same level as Fields.

I think Fieds should never see the last 7 minutes of a 4th quarter ever again. Sadly, he brings nothing but momentum-killing play. I liked him last season, but this one he is a liability on both ends. Terrible shoting, matador defense and horrible decisions when we are making a run.

Of course you have to execute properly. Just cuz you fail on one or two plays, doesn't mean you just lose composure and start jacking guarded long range shots!!! If the team plays horrible offense but makes shots, it's OK with some of you. Now they lose a game with horrible offensive execution and bad decision making and miss those same kind of shots, then we should be allowed to say it.

So who are you calling out with all this "bad offense" that has them 13-5? Woody? Thats funny. You would never call out MDA for HORRENDOUS DEFENSE! Or His dumb offense that did not fit this team. Interesting ....

I agree somewhat. The knicks made their 4th qtr run with BD on the bench and Shump/Melo running the point. BD = weakest link. Fields is awful too. As well as Feast-Famine-Itis-JR.

Who can we rely on other than Melo? Nobody. Hence we can not win without a PG/Second Option.

need to work on the rebounding against elite teams. amar'e coming back could help that. and amar'e being a second scorer could REALLY help balance out the lineup.

i hope amar'e can get well this season, but he shouldn't rush back if it's gonna screw up his career.

knicks really miss Lin, too.

landry has GOT to step up or ride the bench.

JR and Shump are defensive demons. JR played great, shump looked hesitant on offense.

tyson needs to get involved more - teams can't stop him inside and they'll use up all their fouls trying to stop him.

melo is playing out of his mind, really rising to the occassion, but clearly ran out of gas at the end there.

knicks played hard, good game, hate the heat.
