I need to flat out stop watching, at least until Baron makes his debut.

Im telling you people are putting too much on baron. I just can tell that people are gonna be disappointed. Baron is not 25 anymore and he was never steve nash which is what we really need

My bad, you're absolutely right.
Then, I really don't know how they can dig themselves out of this hole and I really don't see Amare and Melo working together.

And I can feel the alpha males struggle already, things could get ugly if they don't get better quick.

moral victories dont count.

Never called it a moral victory. Made a point of saying earlier this thread that I don't consider it one if we lost a close one, your description, not mine.

well this is our sixth loss in a row and we have had the easiest schedule in the league. We had high expectations so there is no reasons to be happy

Again, you're putting words in my mouth who said I was happy about losing?

Never put words in your mouth. Im stating my feelings

As long as you aren't implying that I am.

I'm not implying anything just relax Gustav and have a beer or something lol

That's cool, I just made a point of saying that it wouldn't be a moral victory before the game if they lost a close one. The fact remains there was something to build on but it was not a victory in any sense of the word, just an improvement. Peace.

Gotta be honest man at this point even a close game loss doesn't make it better in my mind. i mean like i said we ae 6-10 on a soft schedule so it could get a lot worse

The only adjective I would use to describe this loss is "painful". It isn't "better" or a "moral victory" or any other words you have used to describe it.

I wish they would have included George Karl in that trade.

He is an elite (or close to it) coach in this league, he did it with the Sonics, he did it with the Melo Nuggs, and he is doing it again with this team.

MDA is a lame duck imo. They traded away his guy in Gallo last year, they traded his point guard he finally got. The GM who hired him already left and they brought in a new coach which undermines his authority (as if he ever had any).

This being said you have to give MDA the year to see if he can turn it around baring a huge collapse. Both players and coaches have pride and I really do see them turning it around at some point later this year.

It seems MDA isnt 110 percent with this team and little Jimmy is the reason why. No wonder his teams always suck, he doesnt fully understand whats going on and yet he feels the need to get himself involved. Rangers are doing well right now but its probably because he doesnt interfere with them as much or at all.

end rant/

Anyways, f@ck this sh!t. Hopefully the Gmen take it tomorrow, thats all I care about right now. Ill worry about Bball after the Superbowl, Im out...

i would explore trades for amar'e before melo. though i don't really know the answer. i'm hoping baron improves things, but who knows.

part of me feels like amar'e is totally shot at this point, but maybe he's just pouting.

He isn't 25 but is a veteran pg who in last quarter can tell melo this tine down the court I'm going to amare, or I'm gonna set shump up for a jumper. He commands respect plus it minimizes tds time

I totally agree. It worked with Amare being the guy last year. The transition to Melo/Amare has not gone smoothly.

He's not pouting, he has been forced aside by a jerkoff.

I feel for the guy. Good dude and a good player. Gallo and Amar'e? Team.

If you watched Nuggets games, you would see how far from the truth you are.

GK is stubborn, plays stupid rotations (if you hate D'antony for that, you have no idea how messed up GK is).
Always plays his 2 pgs together though the team get killed on the boards, etc.

Trust me, if would be really happy to have mike coach my knuggets right now...

I don't see anyone risking anything for Amare right now, because of his play and the uninsured contract.

And really, I don't know if he's done or disinterested, both are possible options.

Exploring a trade for amare before melo well thats shocking lol. Amare actually played real well except for that stupid techical. melo as usual puts up the most shots and misses a ****load of them. sure he makes big shots but he makes you pull your hair out before that happens

Nuggets are 31-16 since the trade. Knicks are 20-24 in regular season, 20-28 overall.

When do we admit that this was a terrible trade?

went to the game tonight, heres my thoughts:

- seems to me like the players are still tuned into d'antoni. i saw melo on the sideline talking to d'antoni a few times, same for amaear, a little less though.
- amear looked explosive to me tonight, but it seemed he didn't always give it his best effort, especially defensive. he really is a revolving door.
- melo struggled until midway through the 4th, but even though his shot wasn't falling he was still hustling and still fighting through screens. his effort never once waned.
- crowd reallllllllllllly hates TD.
- crowd actually booed gallinari most of the night which really surprised me.
- knicks played hard but the quarter and a half offensive drought they went through really killed them.

overall, i like the effort that i saw tonight, i also saw way too many times tonight fast-breaks run by the knicks so horribly because of the lack of pg on this team. if they bring the effort they brought tonight, they're going to win games. it just needs to consistently show up.

just my 2cents.
