Ha, Joey Crawford going on a rampage.

Del Negro should have got fired last season- as soon as they decided to keep him on, their post season chances were doomed. Can't stand the Clippers so I'm glad to see them go down. If I were CP3 I'd think long and hard about re-signing there. Griffin and Jordan and him don't get on, a lot of their depth is about to age beyond being contributors (Hill, Odom, Billups), plus they have a cheap owner.

As a UF fan it has been fun watching him grow. From having to earn his UF scholly with good AAU play and a serious growth spurt. Coming into UF playing in the shadow of his friend and H.S. teammate Nick Calathes to taking over when Nick left after two season to play overseas and Parson finished as SEC player of the year.

Coming out I though he would be a Turkolou Light and would have been the perfect replacement for Gallo because he played a lot of point forward at UF and could grow into a good shooter with work. He has really blossomed and I hope it continues. Houston better get him an extension early because someone might get him with a poison pill offer.

Also how sad it must be in LA. Clippers can't catch a break. This was there opportunity to capitalize on the Lakers being down and they are both out.

Derrick Rose badly wants to come back to the court for the Chicago Bulls, but he told TNT's Rachel Nichols he is being held back by a lack of muscle memory that prevents him from shooting and feeling the way he desires off his torn ACL.

"[Rose] says that he just doesn't have the muscle memory back, is the way he put it," Nichols said during the network's coverage of Game 6 of the Eastern Conference quarterfinals.

Rose has not played this season after undergoing surgery last May to repair his torn ACL.

Rose was reportedly cleared to play in early March, but he has been adamant about not feeling completely comfortable mentally.

The Bulls are tied, 3-3, in their first round series against the Brooklyn Nets, with Game 7 on Saturday.

Rose cant play. Has nothing to do with his health. He plays 1game and Chicago is responsible for paying him for a full season. He doesnt play and insurance picks up his contract. This is Chicago being inexplicably cheap and allowing fans and media to thrash their star player. What is Chicago waiting for. Do they really feel the Heat are unbeatable this year? They had as good a chance as anyone to knock them off. Its too late to insert Rose into the lineup now

Now this is something TNT or ESPN announcers should be discussing pre-game and at the half of the game in Brooklyn.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Can insurers dispute the payment though? i would- he's been cleared to play, he can play, he's not sitting out because he's too injured to play. Otherwise whats stopping more teams from just sitting players a whole year and saving themselves $10-$20mil?

Speaking of which, I now wonder whether Kahn only signed Brandon Roy to get revenge on the Blazers. If you remember Roy had medically retired (and got amnestied), thus getting the Blazers off the hook salary wise (insurers had to pay it).

In the offseason, Twolves went all in to try and get Batum. However Blazers refused to yield, and matched, but not before they had refused to entertain any trade proposals, and the Twolves had to cut some players to make the cap room to make the offer (Kahn had made an illegal offer because they didn't have the cap space he assigned to it).

By picking up Roy, even though everyone knew he'd never be able to hold up, the Blazers suddenly were back on the hook to pay the rest of Roy's Blazer contract, thus costing them about $45 million. So I wonder now if that was the whole point of it- Kahn just wanted revenge on the Blazers (also he was still annoyed they traded a damaged Webster a few seasons ago)

That is an interesting theory. Kahn seemed to make his moves to foil Donnie Walsh as opposed to making his team better so maybe he did this.

Barkley just said the nets play with talent not passion. I am really glad the Knicks series didnt go to a game 7.
