Fun: Boston forces a game Seven. Then loses.
Happened last year but Jimmy missed the shot.
THis is a real rivalry. They played. In conf finals 3 of last 4 years. Not some made up knick-net billboard ****. Not some bing bong ranting in the streat thing.

So, we. Got any conspiracy yet of how “NBA wants to see this series extended”? PhilC? You got any flat earth Silver mob boss things?

If so, why did they let them get a 3 game lead?
And obviously no talk because boston just simply shooting the daylights out. See how this works? No narrative because its logical.
Also Gabe Vincent was out. Did NBA offices do his ankle like that?

With lottery and mostly parity super teams are hard to create and maintain.
There is not “it team” this year. By that, the team that ran it end to end. Denver had a cold spell and it was not a given they’d make finals due to it.

Boston and Miami are damn good, but flawed. Im sure many of us are like “damn, we could have beaten them”.
But we did not.
That lakers with few tweeks were able to make Conf finals. They were not very good were they? GSW last year made an improbable run. Suns can’t seem to get the depth to make it and this was prior to Durant. Clippers have been good for a few yeas but lack. They were the real favorites to come out of the west preseason.
Yet, playoff viewership has been great. Play in proved to be a great fan interest and the Miami run has been fascinating for the fans.

The #1 reason I’d like to see Boston advance is to hear whatever crazy **** Butler comes up with for the post-game conference.

I’m pretty sure it will be something along the lines of “Everybody doubted us, but we still don’t care. We will win the next game.”

I could also see him showing up ready to play in Boston for game 1 of the finals.
