They did quit a little. I mean it was almost like the bulls game when they werent hustlign for rebounds and loose balls

To lose the quarter 40-17, there is a certain level of quitting. Not from Melo and some guys, but can't say the same for others.

They had never played a worse quarter under him. If he doesn't break them apart I'll be surprised. If they lose to the Magic, its over.

I don't know if this is sarcasm or you are being real. Get off the ledge.

Ok. Maybe chandler got a bit frustrated or tired. Shump too seemed off at the end. Woody was right in bringing the starting guys back but Davis was painful to watch

I've been a fan too long to sense when they are about to lose it for good. This 4th quarter is as alarming as the fact that we won't waive Bibby for a healthier PG. This was a game we had to win. Orlando next game will be tougher. If they lose, they get the Bulls twice and Chicago has been the hardest team to beat when shorthanded. After that, you get the Bucks. Win three of those four and I'll agree this team is up for the playoff challenge. Fail to and it will just become a losing stretch that will probably cost us the playoffs with Milwaukee defeating the teams they have to.

We really need to bring in Anthony Carter or Mike James.

I would roll with AC. I loved what he brought last season. Imagine his defense with JR and Shump, then when JJ comes back our second unit would be a defensive beast.

Lucas has played well for Chicago and is/was a ten day. Rose should be back soon. I don't see them keeping Lucas though with CJ Watson still the backup.

Bibby should be coaching to get anything of value. Perhaps Davis as well.

I'm sure someone mentioned this already, but why was Landry sitting for so long after he clearly was having a good game?

No way JR gets suspended even though he should've kept his cool. The replay clearly shows Barbosa holding his arm and JR shoves him off. Not sure that would even be a foul in 1994.

I read somewhere that Bibby called Woodson a father figure. I think the relationship between Woodson and Bibby might keep him on the team. The Knicks seem committed to Jordan but if they were not he would be another waiver canidate. Its funny that back in January the speculation about guys getting waived included Lin and Novak.

Then who will get us the timely offensive fouls?

That was an ugly ending. Team totally looked lost.

2nd unit did their job and starters are suppose to close it out.

Melo got stupid. Either tired or just plain dumb. The whole team looked gassed.

I agree with you. The offense was stagnant. Melo shot well but in the 4th, the D collapsed on him and he forced. Their were no shooters on the floor to keep it honest. Smith was chucking. Davis....he is just bad. Who else scores on this team now? Lin and STAT are so missed. Lin may even be more missed.

With Lin being sidelined the ISO ball has taken over. The ball movement is gone.

All that being said, Melo looks better in this type of offense. MDA was too stubborn, he could have fit some of these sets in the offense, that would have made the team more dynamic. Also, Melo did not have to sulk and not play for him just because he was not getting his way.

TD was just horrible. Absolutely lost. Wow. What the heck happened to him?

He should've played Fields more than 22 minutes. He was pretty hot and we needed that second gun tonight. He basically sat most of that 4th Q. No reason to have Bibby and Douglas in at the same time by the way.

And JR gets more assists than either PG? Okay, more assists than the one PG we had who's still alive?

That game had to be one of the worst officiated games by Joey Crawford I have even seen, especially in the 4th quarter. The Pacers especially Hibbert, got way moving screens all game on top of that he was using his elbows a ton. I also saw West use two hands to set a screen, we never stood a chance especially with iso ball. Maybe the NBA is fixed after all because i have no idea why woody didn't use timeouts to break Indy's momentum (maybe he saw it was a no win situation) or the sub pattern because the guys on the floor was running on fumes. JR is handling the ball way too much, if he goes through his legs and lose the ball again I'm gonna puke. Joey Crawford hates the Knicks and should never officiate another game for us.
