moral victories dont count.

Never called it a moral victory. Made a point of saying earlier this thread that I don't consider it one if we lost a close one, your description, not mine.

well this is our sixth loss in a row and we have had the easiest schedule in the league. We had high expectations so there is no reasons to be happy

Again, you're putting words in my mouth who said I was happy about losing?

Never put words in your mouth. Im stating my feelings

As long as you aren't implying that I am.

I'm not implying anything just relax Gustav and have a beer or something lol

Last year I said I would only trade Gallo for Durant and people here called me crazy.

Same, I admit really dislike Melo but I do have to say that I respect what he did at the end of the game, that was serious balling there.
Clutch shot after clutch shot after clutch shot.

The guy is really gifted, sadly the more time goes, the more he looks like Marbury to me.

10 for 30 and didn't allow the other kids to touch the ball in either OT. Can't respect that.

Come on, I don't like Melo, but every single p;layer was running away from the ball, scared like chickens.

He didn't. You have to give credit for this. My boy Gallo didn't do anything in the 1st OT and waited the 2nd one to put the final nail on the coffin. In the meantime, Melo was scoring again and again.

Nobody wanted to touch the damn ball like it was the plague. Melo had the balls to, I respect that.

See that is one big difference with Gallo and Melo. Gallo saw that Bicycle Helmet was on fire in the 1st OT so he let the offense go through him. Once he saw that Buckets was getting tired...Gallo took over.

Gallo's 37 pts, 11 rebs hurt his defense (pun intended). Missing 20 of 30 shots and getting all the isos don't help him either.

He isn't the main reason, but again, in such a mess of a team, the biggest star gets lots of the share.

Tonight they lost cause of Chandler fouling out and missing Shump at end.

Also Jorts should have been in there at end instead of Jefferies.

yeah, losing tyson hurt a lot. as did losing shump. sigh.

On a really dumb foul at that. We were up 2. We get a rebound. No timeout by dantoni to set up a good play to seal game. Instead melo brings up ball and runs time out on top of key for a 3 pointer that he misses badly. Long rebound and Chandler fouls with nuggets in bonus. We lost game right there. Dantoni has no feel of moments. Critical
Moment that needed a shot at rim to either take lead to 4 or get fouled.

I can't be the only one seeing this poor coaching?

That's cool, I just made a point of saying that it wouldn't be a moral victory before the game if they lost a close one. The fact remains there was something to build on but it was not a victory in any sense of the word, just an improvement. Peace.

This has been the problem all year, when it gets tight, the guys want no part of the moment. No one wants the ball, it's where not having that floor general hurts. Even with billups last year, they had leadership.

Gotta be honest man at this point even a close game loss doesn't make it better in my mind. i mean like i said we ae 6-10 on a soft schedule so it could get a lot worse

Melo was demanding for the ball. In an inbounds play where he was double teamed and Fields called for a TO...Melo was pissed he did not get the pass. I thought that was very telling.

Well Billy Walker wasn't featured as much which didn't make sense. Look I know you are afraid to be critical of melo for some reason but he has to earn it and he hasn't. Tough words but if people call you a star you have to play like one

One more time, I rooted for Denver, I rooted for Gallo, I watch all his games.
But in the first overtime, his body languages screamed ''I dont want the ball'', I guess because of the missed FT at the end. Gallo tends to have many ups and downs in his game right cause he let his recent play influence his current play. So he can catch fire as well as become cold in a snap.

But here, the better team won. Gallo had other guys to take the load, the Knicks are just a crappy team right now. Amare and Melo won't mesh, and Baron Davis won't change anything.

This was written and many tried to believe, but the Knicks should move on quickly. Trade Melo for Deron, see if Amare can still ball or not, and if not, amnesty him and make a run at Howard in the offseason. If they wait too long, things could get really ugly.

And knowing Dolan, I'm affraid for the knicks they will.

I'm numb to this team right now. I sat there and watched tonight's game...and I could care less about tonight's loss.
I need to flat out stop watching, at least until Baron makes his debut.

Yeah the first half was ridiculous, the Knicks scored on eevry shot they took, and they were due to go back to their average %.
