Really, everyone's crying over guys who, in all likelihood, will never play a meaningful NBA minute.

Fields was a 2nd rounder. There is always some kind of talent in the 2nd round, especially for a team lacking a bench...

Funny you would bring him up. I remember last year everyone getting all bent out of shape because we picked Fields but not Lance Stevenson. I think it's funny that the same basic thing is happening again this year; everyone is getting bent out of shape becuase we haven't taken random second round pick X.

We did, his name is Iman Shumpert.

This is sure to make Knick fans feel good in next few yrs, no drafts OR zippo
Knicks to be shutout of drafts for years to come.

Rockets receive the Knicks' 2012 first-round pick (top 5 protected in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015, if not conveyed by 2015 then the Rockets will receive the Knicks 2015 and 2016 second-round picks) (Tracy McGrady trade 02-18-10)

Nuggets receive the Warriors' 2012 second-round pick, via Knicks (David Lee trade 07-09-10) (Carmelo Anthony trade 02-22-11)

Nuggets receive the Warriors' 2013 second-round pick, via Knicks (David Lee trade 07-09-10) (Carmelo Anthony trade 02-22-11)

Suns receive the Knicks' 2012 second-round pick (top 55 protected) (Amare Stoudemire trade 07-08-10)

Nuggets will receive the Knick's first-round pick two years after the Knicks surrender their 2012 first-round pick to the Rockets (Carmelo Anthony trade 02-22-11)

Nuggets have option to swap 2016 first-round picks with the Knicks (Carmelo Anthony trade 02-22-11)

By time Knicks legally can draft OR CARE to draft in NBA schemes of things MELO and AMARE $contracts will be up
they make their monies and will be gone!

I wouldn't call it random pick X. These 2nd rounders have names and talent that we could use.

Oh, you're still here being annoyingly negative after weeks/months of disappearance at a time? Cool.

They say he is a great rebounder and sets great screens, and can hit the 3 but is flat footed.

here's what i know about josh harrelson.. he played his best basketball of the year in the NCAA tournament where he posted 15/10, 15/8, 17/10, 12/8, 6/4 on a team that went to the Final 4. i remember watching a piece about him during the Final 4 which had guys like brandon knight saying how much of a valuable player he was to them. he also did average 1.5bpg a game too. he's an athletic guy who shot 61% from the floor (alot of his points are around the basket, he has to improve his shot) last year.

could be a nice find late in the draft..

Well for what it's worth, part of the reason I wanted Selby so much was because I thought NO might like him as a piece in any potential CP3 deal. Obviously if they wanted him, they would have kept the pick.

I wasn't one of them. I didn''t hate the pick because I was too confused. Right now Im excited about Iman and Im glad they bought a pick in the 2nd round. I wasn't angry for who we picked, but for not getting more picks, which at least we did. Who we got, now Ill find out :p

Tyler get's bought and Harper gets acquired for a bag of balls... come on Donnie.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

Knicks drafted a guy with a higher body fat percentage than Tyler. 15%?

Could be a nice backup C that can provide solid limited minutes from the get go. They must be confident Jordan can start or have a deal for a C in the works...
