I think they said he was injured but the series has obviously been quite rough for him.

Dwight on Houston if the Robinson kid developes at the PF, resign Parsons (if they can after dwight) would be a young team ready to compete NOW!

Not sure if they can keep Asik, or even should.

Dwight has to deal with Capspace-Pau-Metta-Kobe-MDA "drama's" vs a young up and coming team with assets!

Of course, sitting in malibu after games don't suck either!

ON the other hand, why would Houstan or any team invest 100mm in a man who won't publically recognize his children?

6 children with 5 different women.

in 2004 this was written about him:

His Faith:

Dwight is known not only for his game, but also for his faith in Christ. He publicly talked about his goal of changing the image of the NBA. The NBA has image has been criticized for years, tarnished by player’s attitudes and arrests. Dwight talked about his vision of a cross being incorporated into the NBA logo, even though revealing this vision could lead to persecution and the loss of money in endorsements. He discussed ways that he would share his faith with other players in the league as well as fans that he met along the way. While so many other stars in professional sports concern themselves with the popularity and money, Dwight’s main concern has remained the same: to be used by God, in a position that God has placed him in, to show people the love of Christ.

Dwight has vowed to keep from compromising his faith in his business affairs, as well as in his actions. He promised to avoid any situations that would cause people to question his faith or turn people away from Christ. The words were there, but could he live up to it? He had placed himself under the microscope of a world that loves to see Christians fall

Ok, so Dwight did not live up to this and is just a meer mortal!

But live up to it man! Have as many kids and women as you want but the two faced gig is old!

From a basketball standpoint he is compelling. As the fact of a franchise he is not exactly a good image. Morally inconsistant and openly immature.

Is Houston firing McHale? He has a young team and they won 45 games. Also, after the death of his daughter I can't imagine that they would let him go unless he wanted to go.

I know you got it bad for McHale and Lin but it could be seen that McHale did a great job if you consider the Rockets season and level of talent.

Lets be real, the only thing that defines Lin and expectations to many is his contract.
Asik also, as he was a bench player for chicago. Parsons was a steal in the draft but still had to be coached. Harden is a star and paid like one but also a new role for him as the alpha player instead of 6th man.

Look at it this way, they had about the same season as the Lakers!!!!!!

Yup. Him, Lin and Parsons have been pretty banged up at the end of the season. Delfino also. Their style of play causes a lot of dings in the body.

You have to believe Dallas or Houston would be a better situation for Howard. Dallas has Nowitski. Houston has Harden and young assets to trade to make a big 3.

Dirk's tank is empty. That train has left. Houston would be a good situation for Superman. Would probably make the game easier for Lin, and Harden is a scoring machine that also distributes.

Anyone giving Houston any shot against OKC without Westbrook?

I was thinking a Houston/Knicks final would be a great ratings deal.

Denver/Knicks final if Gallo was healthy would have been fun. Especially around these threads!

Maybe more credit to GSW and Bogut should be given than the failing of Denver.

Curry's finally having his coming out party. Not to be shared With Jason Collins.

I now retract my Houston/Knicks Finals ratings extravaganza proposal. I really don't care to see Beverly cutting Melo's knees out from under him, and apparently Jesus H. Lin don't like the playoffs all that much.

Funny, Gallo's gone and Denver's pretty much toast, Lee's done and GSW is all the rage.

Ha, wonder if he'll get as much criticism as Amar'e did last year:

OAKLAND, CALIF. — “I hate losing with a passion. I hate losing more than I like winning,” forward Kenneth Faried said after Denver lost game Game 4 at Golden State.

And so, when Faried headed into the locker room after falling behind 3-1, he kicked a hole in the drywall.

Denver is losing because they have no go to scorer.

Curry has been clutch but shooting over a 5' 11" Lawson isnt that impressive. Curry is a big PG.

Denver (Nuggicks)isn't who they thought they were. Maybe the high altitude.

Pretty solid victory by Houston after being soooo close in the last games. Durant is amazing but without Westbrook looks alone, even when he isn't because Martin, Ibaka, Fisher, Jackson etc. are a pretty solid supporting cast.

Fransisco Garcia did a heck of a job on Durant last night. Durant got his but Garcia made him work.

They're scoring like 110 points a game. Their problems don't have anything to do with scoring. What are you saying - Maybe they'd get 130 if they had a go to scorer?

lol good point.. but.. bonn, you do understand why this "go to scorer" argument is being presented?.. kind of ridiculous if you ask me..

ty lawson dropped 35 in a loss.. scoring is not the nuggets problem here..

and you have to give the warriors credit... plain and simple..

A go to guy doesn't flop out of bounds and lose possesion with seconds remaining when the game is on the line and you're down 2-1 in playoff best of seven series. At worst he gets his shot off. These excuses are ridiculous, but typical from anti knicks fans who love the Nuggicks on UK.

You can't play nervous as the go to guy, go to guys has ice in their veins not slushies.

Denver still can win the series. Also, if scoring is not the issue does that mean Gallo should not be used as an excuse? Should injuries be used as an excuse if both teams are suffering from injuries?

Durant's best teammate has 14 PPG but he knows that as long as you have NBA level teammates (and the shot-clock is not about to expire), there's no reason to take low % shots. Melo seems to trust only high PPG players (Olympics teammates, JR, Amare).

I think Jarred Jeffries scared him for life.
