You have to believe Dallas or Houston would be a better situation for Howard. Dallas has Nowitski. Houston has Harden and young assets to trade to make a big 3.

Dirk's tank is empty. That train has left. Houston would be a good situation for Superman. Would probably make the game easier for Lin, and Harden is a scoring machine that also distributes.

Anyone giving Houston any shot against OKC without Westbrook?

I was thinking a Houston/Knicks final would be a great ratings deal.

Houston would be a great landing spot for all involved.

Dwight wouldn't have to shoulder "title aspirations" and being the next Shaq in LA. He could "hide" a little behind Harden as the Beta to Harden's Alpha.

Denver/Knicks final if Gallo was healthy would have been fun. Especially around these threads!

Maybe more credit to GSW and Bogut should be given than the failing of Denver.

Curry's finally having his coming out party. Not to be shared With Jason Collins.

With all the coming out talk, maybe these guys might want to finally set record straight:

These guys can't quit eachother...

They certainly would be better off offering him a full max contract and then either keeping or trading him. As long as he's healthy, I assume he'll perform better next year with Kobe out of the way.

LA is fools gold till that roster gets remade. If all players were healthy they would have hung with the Spurs. But fast teams would run them right out of the gym. They have almost zero transition game! D or O!

So you don't think Hakeem's shadow wouldn't loom large?

Only, because the spotlight is dimmer in Houston. Yao or T-Mac didn't seem to be fazed by it, and even though they made some playoff pushes and fell short, it was never perceived as a collossal disappointment like it would be in NY or LA.

In LA, you'd be forever be sized up against Wilt, Kareem, Shaq etc. 1 ring wouldn't be enough either.

Houston, if you make a nice playoff push, it's okay as long as you're competitive.

Maybe Dwight might want to rethink his relationship with Stan Van Gundy!

Dwight on Houston if the Robinson kid developes at the PF, resign Parsons (if they can after dwight) would be a young team ready to compete NOW!

Not sure if they can keep Asik, or even should.

Dwight has to deal with Capspace-Pau-Metta-Kobe-MDA "drama's" vs a young up and coming team with assets!

Of course, sitting in malibu after games don't suck either!

ON the other hand, why would Houstan or any team invest 100mm in a man who won't publically recognize his children?

6 children with 5 different women.

in 2004 this was written about him:

His Faith:

Dwight is known not only for his game, but also for his faith in Christ. He publicly talked about his goal of changing the image of the NBA. The NBA has image has been criticized for years, tarnished by player’s attitudes and arrests. Dwight talked about his vision of a cross being incorporated into the NBA logo, even though revealing this vision could lead to persecution and the loss of money in endorsements. He discussed ways that he would share his faith with other players in the league as well as fans that he met along the way. While so many other stars in professional sports concern themselves with the popularity and money, Dwight’s main concern has remained the same: to be used by God, in a position that God has placed him in, to show people the love of Christ.

Dwight has vowed to keep from compromising his faith in his business affairs, as well as in his actions. He promised to avoid any situations that would cause people to question his faith or turn people away from Christ. The words were there, but could he live up to it? He had placed himself under the microscope of a world that loves to see Christians fall

Ok, so Dwight did not live up to this and is just a meer mortal!

But live up to it man! Have as many kids and women as you want but the two faced gig is old!

From a basketball standpoint he is compelling. As the fact of a franchise he is not exactly a good image. Morally inconsistant and openly immature.

I agree but re-signing him and then being able to trade him would help rebuilding much better than losing him for nothing.

Any team that signs him will overpay big time. Then if you want to trade him you have to find teams to take on his bloated contract, and give up pieces. That may not be doable.

I think plenty of teams one piece away would trade for him. I think he could put any of the top 8 teams from being contenders to frontrunners.

No doubt! But the big questions would be would/could they take on his contract. Would/could they trade picks and the good players his team would surely ask for in return? Also Dwight has a problem of saying which teams he would play for.IE The Nets.

Heinrich is out for tonight's game. If the Nets still can't win with all the injury problems the bulls are going through I think we can expect a new coach next season. Maybe Phil Jackson, although I don't know what he thinks of their roster.

Is Houston firing McHale? He has a young team and they won 45 games. Also, after the death of his daughter I can't imagine that they would let him go unless he wanted to go.

I;m listening to Marv Albert who's the Nets PLAY BY PLAY ANNOUNCER but is on TNT.

I don't here him showing any bias towards the Chicago Bulls like Mike Breen does for the Celtics. SOMETHING IS WRONG !
