Things like RJ scaling back his shot selection and rebuilding his confidence without benching. Mostly on a 5 game road trip.
Putting Randle into position where he succeeds more than fails.
Grimes getting installed to starting lineup and over time getting more catch and shoot opportunities.
JB, after a hot start and teams adjusting, has added more by less. Randle back to point forward duties with Brunson off the ball. Keeps his wear down.
My take is both Brunson and RJ getting to the rim creates the offense rebound by mitch and Hart when the weak side comes to help. THis factors. Not like they are defying their coach?
If the yoot are succeeding now than before its proof they were not being held back, they were not ready. Fanboys won’t see that. They like conspiracy. Can’t give coaches credit if it means not laying claim that “I called it”.

Not just deuce. He’s just the flavor of the month. But for every team we’ve had I love the underdogs. Even in fights like boxing matches, I root for the underdogs. Deuce McBride is a 2nd round pick, struggled in his rookie season, played well in the gleague, kept at it, kept getting chances, finally won a role and is now in the rotation, looking good and playing a role he can grow in. Its a good job buy the FO for drafting him, the staff for developing him and McBride for all the elbow grease along the way. Lastly the support (and belief) from fans like blkexec is what really makes these stories possible.

I’m a huge Burks fan. What that have to do with deuce. I’m a fan of any 2 way player plus Burks was our Jordan in the 4th. If your not a Burks fan something’s wrong.

Since when did he struggle? His shooting might not have been great but he did not struggle. The same advance stats he has this year he had then. There is a reason why some fans were calling for him to be given a legit chance. Plus like I been saying all along he needed more consistent time to be in rhythm. All the dimension's of an NBA court are the same to a G-League court. So if you can hit open shots there you can hit them in the NBA. The only difference was in the amount of time he got to be in rhythm when taking them.

Plus there is more to basketball than shooting. I thought we would figure that out now that we are a much better team since we went to more defensive guards. Grimes been in a slump until recently and his impact was still great because of how good his defense was. There was a point when Grimes was shooting mid 20% from 3.

fans also call for the coach to be fired, for Randle to be traded for nothing, Frank just needs minutes... McBride needed more time. Sorry I think the coach got it right and not sorry that is pretty easy to see why.

You wanna say you knew all along? Great. I say the same thing. I knew ALL ALONG that Thibs would KNOW EXACTLY when the right time to play Deuce would be and WHEN HE WOULD BE READY and look at that results! Wow. I nailed that one
