Christian Woods and RJ battling to see how can be the worst 3point shooter. It's neck and neck

Putzingis to make his season debut tonight. Notwithstanding my dislike of him and our stake in the Mavs' pick, I expect he'll play well and get better. But again detaching from emotion, the question is for how long?

I was hopeful that Admiral Schofield would drop to us, but he went first overall. Oh well. Welcome Justin Patton!

Wow!! From the moment they signed, it looks as if Kyrie and KD got that nyets organization by the balls....Curious to see how the nyets organization react to this news as the fallout from being spotted at a party while sitting out games wont be good. I was trying to give Kyrie's the benefit of the doubt as I wasn't sure and am still not sure if there are some health issues within his family he's dealing with. This is strange all the way around...

I don't know about everyone else but if I was a pro player making more than even a couple million a year my family would be living in a nicely furnished bubble

Also, if I'm related to this pro player, I'd think 3x before exposing him online. Or maybe this pro player just doesn't care. Wouldn't even come close to the largest display of arrogance Kyrie has shown.

His talent and contract is not like most people. At the same time when you hire an employee you know is hyper sensitive and will not come to work all the time because he might be (fill in the blank) then you roll with it. We can judge him a hypocrite or whatever for his not wearing a mask and thats easy. As a knick fan we can hate on him so we feel better about rejection or him not being our problem.
kyrie is one of the 5 best point guards in the world and wanted to play in Brooklyn with his friend Kevin.
His employer signed off on it. I’m sure they did their home work on it and came to a decision they are better off with him and his “foibles” then not.
Agree with it or not.
This guy is a basketball player and perhaps not a whole person. He seems to have a sympathetic following with teammates and coaches. I don’t understand it, but thats just my guess.

Realistically, what else is there if you want to keep your team moving forward?

If (and it might not be) it turns out Kyrie just decided to take the week off because it was his Dad and sisters birthday, what happens to him? Can the Nets really just pretend that’s fine? But then do they have a choice?

Ha ha!

He probably made the right decision going to the Nets, the media barely cares if he takes a week or two off for fun, if he was a Knick he’d be roasted alive!

If its fine with them, why should it matter to you? I mean family first. Right?
IN fact, his pops should be proud his son took a week off to hang with him!
Should he be paid? Not my money. Not my business. Jack Ma don’t mind, I don’t mind.
His mates upset? Maybe they are. Not my business.
If he took time off to see his family say after his Grandmother died? That ok? Or the birth of a child?
How about that? So we supposed to adhere to society norms about what’s an excusable absence?
We talking about Kyrie. A Brother from another planet!

It’s clearly not fine with them. I just think it’s a d*** move. I remember once at work my manager just left for the day to get their hair done, then just started taking a day off every month, then just started rolling back on the amount of work they did, meaning me and my colleagues had to pick up the slack- it’s the complete lack of regard for colleagues (and in this case fans). If it was a serious personal matter, inform the team properly, it’s not asking fir much. He’s not a brother form another planet, there’s nothing meta about- he’s just an a**hole with an oversized ego, and saying ‘oh, that’s just Kyrie!’ Just enables s***y behaviour

LMAO....Kyrie sitting there with his hand on his chin looking like he doesn't have a care in the world. From a far, Basketball just doesn't seem like its a top priority for him anymore.
