You get Richardson only if you're in a lose now mode.

I think Kwame makes a little bit less $ than Brand.

So it's really Kwame + Nick Young + Whoever else they sign + Cap Flexibility vs having Elton Brand and being decent but not a contender

Let's try to elevate the level of discourse in this byeetch. Please

3m a year for 2 years for Kwame Brown, won't kill them but since they are under the cap, Scola would make more sense, if they have Moultrie and Lavor Allen
He is brought in to just play 3rd string PF/C.

Sixers staring lineup
=====================

Andre Iguodala
Dorrel Wright
Thaddeus Young
Lavoy Allen/ Arnett Moultrie
Spencer Hawes

Jrue Holiday
Evan Turner
Nick Young
Mo Harkless
Arnett Moultrie
Nikola Vucevic
Kwame Brown

Summer League pickups???
---------------------------
Jacob Pullen
Justin Holiday

I think they will be using Andre Iguodala, at PG/Forward, something like how Lebron is used in Miami.
maybe even use Jrue Holdiday off the bench.with shooters/athletic forwards to space the floor.
They still need to add some guards PG's and guards with speed and the ability to handle the ball.

They amnestied Brand mainly because of Arnett Moultrie, with the development of Lavoy Allen and Vucevic ready to receive bigger roles.

I think Moultrie is a COMPLETE steal in the draft, mock drafts had him as high as a top 10 pick, and Philly is just giving a 2nd round pick with a future 1st round pick to The Heat for him.
He is a more athletic Chris Bosh, a hybrid between Bosh/Stromile Swift/KG and moves very well with GREAT ATHLETICISM, Size, LENGTH, strength, and ability to finish.
Moultrie has 3point range on top of it, he has very high potential, his ability to step out to defend guards for PnR, and probably can play some SF/PF.
This draft was so deep, many players that could be early 1st round picks, slid all the way to the end of the 1st round.

There simply is no room or need for Elton Brand, using his big salary to fill in for other needs.
They are stacked at the forward spots, they could use some quick guard that can penetrate though.
I think Nate Robinson could be a very cheap option for them and will be very good.

Martell Webster is officially on the blocks.

Korver traded to ATL with Morrow and Jenkins. That makes three good snipers.

Also, now that they have Wright, I wouldn't at all be surprised if Iggy gets traded. There's been talk of it for a while. It would make sense to drop Iggy, insert Wright in the starting 3, and go after Calderon or Felton to share time with Jrue.

If Knicks passed on Lin they could trade for Igoudala to provide passing and ball distribution.

Talk of Amnesty on Darko. 10 mil over two years.

MDA messed these guys up good huh? (sarcastic application!)

I don't blame Donnie for taking a flier on these guys but don't blame MDA for not playing them.

Strange take on garbage players Nalod. Doesn't MDA's system inflate everyone's numbers though(Q Rich, Diaw, Marion, Duhon, Felton, Lee, Lin etc)? Least he could have done is play these scrubs to inflate their value or see if they might even stick. Guess that's just MDA's genius intuition knowing they would stay scrubs in the future!

LOL - priceless.

B/c AR played like sheot when he was with us and Darko had a piss poor attitude (Which Darko admitted). Why should have MDA played those 2?

It was pretty obvious the way dantoni was yelling at Randolph in that first exhibition game in Italy that he wasnt going to be getting a lot of run in my.

Strange that Top Coaches had no real use for AR or patience to wait and see if he could realize his talent. Don Nelson, MDA and now Rick Adelman.

Randolph has a Million Dollar Talent, but 10 cent head. Maybe one day he'll get it figured out, but MDA wasn't wrong about him. After all this time people need to accept that MDA wasn't wrong on most of the players he gave up on. If you can't get any love from MDA there has to be something wrong, cuz MOST of the mediocre to good talents he's had have done well under him.

As well as a low bball iq, I get the impressing he's lazy in practice too- I remember Amar'e saying he had to get some of the young guys to realise how hard you have to work to be successful. Also the main route into D'antonis dog house is lack of effort.

I think if he was given a starting spot and a lot of minutes on a team, he'd make more effort and improve. Doubt that's going to happen though and it's a shame because he could of been a special player.

Darko is an unrestricted free agent. (but D'Antoni shoulda played him more!!) If only D'Antoni played Darko and AR more maybe some team in the entire NBA would offer them a minimum contract..

Haywood claimed by Bobcats (but D'Antoni shoulda played him more! oh wait.)

Marc Stein ‏@ESPNSteinLine
So in today's big amnesty machinations: Bobcats claim Mavs castoff Brendan Haywood & Wolves castoff Darko Milicic now available to masses

According to Isola we met with Grant Hill yesterday. As much as I like vets, I think 4 40 year olds on one team is way too many.

Last rumors I heard, Hill was looking to join Nash in LA.

Could be good for our stars to have so much experience around.

People joke that he always claims to be interested in the Knicks, but I remember last time Hahn or someone said he was actually going to sign with us for the MLE but at the last minute we lost the MLE due to the Tyson trade so he had to go back to the Suns. Personally I think the Lakers is a better situation for him, we are getting too old.

Have we called Magic yet, as back up for Kidd? I think we should look at Barkley as well.

They would have never sent him to us, but we could use his length/size as the defender at the 3/4 spots.
Great upside role player/defender but too bad not enough room on the squad with Fields added.

A high 2nd round picks from crappy teams, in a financial sense, are slightly better than late 1st round picks because you can offer them longer deals and evaluate talent for long with unguaranteed money, unlike a 1st round or late 2nd pick.

Taj Gibson and James Johnson were both solid picks by The Bulls
Both players I would love to have on our roster especially Gibson.

Some very young and good role players, my 2 favorites, would Gibson and JJ Barea.

A player that could provide the penetration that Lin could, with speed/quickness, ability to finish strong, set up others/facilitate, use screens/PnR very well, and hit the 3pointer
Pound for pound, probably the most under rated player in the entire league.
