Game sucked and hurt bad but Wanna see how they react against Magic. One thing the team has done under Woodson is stay away from losing streaks.

def. are missing Jefferies

and Lin
and Stat

Of Course. jeffires is our best bigman defender behind Chandler and hustle guy, lin's penetration is 100000 times better than baron, and Amare was starting to look like a beast before he went down

This was a bad bad bad loss...they took their foot off the gas and let Indy off the hook early in the 4th. Didn't locate Granger on those 3s, couldn't get those rebounds, BD played probably his worst game as a Knick, JR had some knucklehead plays, dumb TOs and fouls, and overall lack of hustle. Just a crushing loss, morale wise and playoff implication wise.

We have 104 points and they have 110 when we've been giving up 85 and you think the problem today was offense/Iso Ball??

Yes in the 4th offense was the problem.

LOL..we gave up 40 points in the 4th quarter..31 in the first...112 pts in the game. Wow..you guys really loved Dantoni.

You act like you've never seen 17 pt quarters in the Dantoni era...Defense, Baron Davis & 2nd Chance Pts. is what killed us this game. Add to that that stretch with 2nd unit when Pacers cut lead down within one minute.

I never said anything about MDA. All I want is a balanced offense. I understand milking ISO melo when he is hot but to do it for the whole game? People need to be in a rhythm. You can't call standing by the 3point line getting in a rhythm.

that has nothing to do with giving up 112 points. It's simple. Knicks give up their season average and this is a win point blank. A Blowout most likely. Defense was the issue.

Maybe you think I am saying that offense was the only problem. I am not saying that I am just stating my problem with the off Woody is running.

Watching the game I don't understand how "Iso Melo" could be seen as the problem. Those were the most efficient plays tonight. Baron creating stunk. they took away Chandler's roll on pick and rolls. they really didnt' double so that didn't leave anyone open. When Melo sat did you see how bad the offense looked when running motion?

Everything was gravy until the 2nd unit messed up the mojo with lazy defense and got the Pacers going.

Look...there is simply no excuse for this loss after leading by 15 points going into the 4th. I am disgusted. Pacer energy...REALLY!?

Woodson nailed it in the interview on what was also wrong with the offense. He said it was too slow moving the ball up the court.

Thats the example of giving the game away. i mean i felt like it was fixed. I dont want to hear Granger because last time we owned them two nights in a row and we owned them tonight until we let them win

How can you not be rageously furious (yes, rageously!) after that 4th quarter and can simply say Indy got their energy up and that happens is beyond me! Yes, we simply lost because we didn't have Jared. While I agree Jared would've helped, the truth is this team had a big double digit lead they HAD TO TAKE CARE OF. HORRIBLE PG PLAY, INDECENT DEFENSE AND YOU GET BLOWN OUT IN THE FREAKING FOURTH QUARTER??? WE LOST THE FOURTH BY 23 PTS!!!! 23!!!!!!!!!

This team needs to go on a winning streak only to recover from this STINKING loss. With Orlando, Bulls twice and the blood-smelling Bucks next, we could be out of the playoffs as fast as we lost this game. If you can't see how horrible this loss is you are delusional.

He should've gone with fields instead of Davis. Oh well playoff chances barely alive. We need Jeffries back. Badly.

Right now, be happy making the playoffs. This team can lose the 8th spot as quickly as they lost this game in the fourth.

Mark my words...the Knick playoff chances are in serious jeopardy.

I seriously fear we won't make it. Im afraid management won't add a PG, therefore remaining with the PG rotation we currently have. Melo will try his hardest, but by the time Amar'e comes back, it may be too late. The Bucks are taking care of the easy games they have. We play Orlando, twice vs. Bulls and then the hungry Bucks. If we quit as we did tonight, we will be in a big hole pretty soon.

Overreaction perhaps?

No. WE NEED A POINT GUARD. Didn't we learn anything from Lin? We need a healthy body out there that can simulate to organize the ball. Davis, Bibby and Douglas don't make a good PG together.

They need to get someone hungry and healthy. At this point, I would rather Tony Douglas right now because he plays hard defense. This lost is on Woodson for keeping Davis in the game so long.

This season's Douglas is not the answer. He is truly bad.

I think that not having Jared or STAT made us vulnerable inside cuz Tyson has to give too much help and can't cover the glass as much as he needs to. This led to 2nd chances for the pacers. They didn't score as easily against out set D. It was the 2nd chances that killed us.

Definitely. You can tell Tyson looked drained coming in the 4th quarter when he's strolling down the field. We didn't have enough defense but I still think we could've done a decent job if other players at least tried hard on pressure. Too many open shots for Pacers and they stole a bunch of balls and offensive rebounds while we just stood there, defeated.

They had never played a worse quarter under him. If he doesn't break them apart I'll be surprised. If they lose to the Magic, its over.

I don't think our players quit. But the weakness at PG and the hole at the 4 are creating imbalances. Harrelson had a wrist injury but he seems really leaden on his feet. Shump had a return to earth. Like the start of the season, it's PG play that's the problem.
