His talent is awesome but his shot selection sucks

I saw about three bad shots but thats me. Is it any different than Shump's bad shots? The difference is one is a better shooter. You are right that he is known for taking bad shots.

I'm guessing when he adjusts to playing against NBA level defenders again it will improve somewhat although he does have that rep for questionable shot selection at times.

the guys is playing a crazy amount of minutes and they are doubling him. hell i dont see rose get doubled as much as lin is

Exactly- plus we've won 8 of 9 games with the high number of TO's- I look at them as lucky charms!

Magic told him last night on air to hit him up for some advice on running the point. I hope Lin takes him up on it.

That's awesome.

I like JR as our 6th and his role on last few minutes to space out the lane. He is taking over Shump minutes if Shump can't be better with his jump shots. I don't like how he likes to dribble for 1:1. I rather he takes the novak catch and shoot or quick dribble and shoot.

It happens, sometimes even good teams play to the level of their competition. It happened with the Riley Knicks too at times.

Solid win. Wish we could have gotten Amare more involved.

Also Lin being trapped killed alot of time on the shot clock. Melo shuld help with that but we still have alot of work to do.

Yes sir...we still have work to do but this team can be even better than what we've seen so far.

He looked very shaky so I understand why they took him out so the Knicks could regroup and it helped Stat as well.

Terrific game. I'm almost happy with the NO game Friday. Finally get to see how Lin responds on a bounceback game.

we got amare involved but he wasn't playing today lol. I agree melo should love this because they are doubling lin now. Lin gets doubled and still ends up with 28 pts and 14 dimes thats insane

Woah- have you checked the stats- JR shot 6 of 16- I didn't notice him taking or missing so many shots.

Not bad considering he just flew back from China a few days ago. JR is going to be a big part pf this team and important to our success.

I didn't notice it either. His energy on the court did a good job of masking it.

Lin was awesome and clutch. Hitting 3 near the end of the game; making passes to a wide-open Novak. Playing 45 minutes. I hope he has something left for the Nets tomorrow.

And JR - excellent first game without any practice. Where are the naysayers now?

Great game.

With the exception of 3 shots, all of them came in the flow of the offense. Not mad at him at all....Played a solid game considering he just stepped off of a plane without any practice time.

He definitely wasn't shy about getting his shot today.

I liked Chris Broussard's comparison at the half. JR is like a 6'6" Nate Robinson. The Garden's going to both love him and hate him, and I think most of that will coincide with wins.

Today, I love him.
