The Wolves have lost four straight.

I wonder if I have the hockey channel.

Mostly folk been sleeping on Miller. He got hurt.
Ball is still waste. He is playing defense and they holding him to that standard.
Jalen is the creme of the small PG big money players.
Jah, Lamelo, and Trae proved Doris right!

Minny loses 4 in a row, sit just a game ahead of us. Seems remarkable how even the trade has been!

Reality is good teams go thru bad stretches. WE been a good team since KAT got here.
Bad teams go thru good stretches. Don't mean they are good.
It all gets sorted out on the court in time!

Minny needs a point guard. Mike Conley is 57 years old. Their bench is also weak. I'm guessing they are on the phone right now.

It would be hilarious if they picked up Cam Payne

The Jordan play also was a travel because he picked up the pivot foot. However, just call it a gather step in 2026 and its legal. This is why I scoff at people who say players are more skilled now. We don't know that for sure because the rules were changed to allow them to do things they could not do in the past. Give MJ these modern day fouls and gather steps and he would average near 45 to 50 even if he don't improve his 3pt shot.

I am glad I am not the only one. I hate the new age NBA and I loved the NBA for most of my life. The race to inflate scores has ruined it for me.

Yeah , I hear you. It was more pure. But I am not a purist. Give them HGH, let them dunk from half court. I don't care. Alls I ask for is to box out. Just box out your man, is that so hard?

Funny you should bring up boxing out. I played center but I was bad at boxing out. I just had a good feel where the ball would go. My go to move was get the rebound and do the Lebron fast break. People never suspect such a big guy would run the break with handles. I made 3 or 4 people fall in my life and most were on fast breaks.

Nice! I also played center and my dribble skills were 'as usual' for a center. So no fast break from me. From my experience, boxing out was the most physically exhausting part of basketball. While everyone is watching the ball there is usually a war going on in the post. Bigs trying to keep other bigs from establishing deep positions. There are hidden elbows, and you need to get super low in order not to get pushed out of the way, and there are all sort of " swim through" moves happening...Once the shot goes up, my job was to make sure the opponent doesn't get the ball. I know exactly where their center is and if he gets the offensive board that means I failed 3 times. First, he should never have been in position to get the board. Second, I failed to box out once the shot went up. And third, ( this is what rebounding mostly is now in the NBA) opponent wanted the ball more.

It wasn't flashy, and at times it looked downright ugly. I wasn't very quick, so sometimes the rebound is like 6 feet from me, on the ground. I got two guys on my back and I know that if my teammate doesn't grab the ball I will look like an idiot. Because once I go for the ball and stop preventing the opponent from doing the same it's 50/50. Some guys are so quick that they will have enough time to run around me and get to the ball first.

I can see why you have it in for KAT now. Your inner Bill Russell cries when he fouls and smiles!

Exactly! I want to punch him in the gonads to take that smile off his face. This is not Bingo in the retirement home, this is supposed to be the year we get to the Finals. Towns is standing in the way of that right now

If thats your expectation I get it. I'd like to think that also but in the era of Parity were there are not great teams the playoffs can be a bit unpredictable. I mean freaking INDY made it last year! Shit happens.

Catching the Minny game that was delayed one day due to murder.

Why the anthem is still played is beyond me. It should just be two minutes of silence mourning the death of our nation.

The whole pushback from Kapernick and George Floyd unfortunately tells you the tempeture of a good slice of the country. The denial of science, womens rights, and reactions from school shootings tells you how we judge a society by how it protects its women and children. We are not the worst, but have a lot of work to do in my opinion.

That some can protest not being treated equal and others see it as disrespectful is sad.
