Thanks for the back handed compliment..A compliment nonetheless...
Its not a backhanded comment. He gave felton props. I agree with dk7th felton seems to play better with prigioni. If felton keeps playing like this he will get praise but he has to keep it up
lets be crystal clear: hubie said that prigioni helps the offense with the facilitating, allowing felton to play within his limitations, which is clearly not orchestrating or facilitating. yes he had 8 assists but does he pass the eye test in terms of orchestrating? no not if we are being honest.
the pressure is off of felton's shoulders and he is delivering what he can on his terms or within his limitations. there is nothing wrong with that. it just means that the coach and the player recognize these limitations and put players beside him that will help im maximize his playing time effectively. it's important that he not be burdened with more responsibility than he can bear. i think his floor impact is at its pinnacle right now.
No need to try and put Felton in your little box , Clyde said it multiple times how when he played there were no pg's just guards.
Meaning combo guards win Championships, remember Vinnie Johnson with Detroit, Joe Dumars. Come on man , you're better than that.
Felton does what he do , no need to pigeon hole him.
now that his prior arguments have proved incorrect, he's got to put him in his little box. So he can maintain his dignity or something
"proved incorrect"
he was making terrible decisions for most of the seasons and now he is playing within himself and playing great. when players play badly i say they are playing badly. when players are playing great i say they are playing great.
"felton played an excellent game today"
"i think his floor impact is at its pinnacle right now."
these are comments that praise him. he has done nothing to "prove me wrong."
i have said all along he needs help with running the team. early in the season he had kidd help him and now late in the season he has prigioni helping him. without those two helping him the wheels fall off the bus. all we are seeing now is the coaching staff recognizing needs for certain players and filling those needs.
these are needs that i very clearly stated all season long. that the coaching staff is recognizing what i pointed out and addressing it should be cause for celebration for all knick fans because the knicks are winning.
and if you were a bit more charitable you would also give me some props for calling it instead of spewing stuff.
knicks win 38-43 games in 16-17. rose MUST shoot no more than 14 shots per game, defer to kp6 + melo, and have a usage rate of less than 25%
