MDA messed these guys up good huh? (sarcastic application!)
I don't blame Donnie for taking a flier on these guys but don't blame MDA for not playing them.
I would pick both of them for the vet minimum, I think they both can play.
AR one more shot playing the 4 with Camby/Tyson to mentor him.
We still do not have a couple Lebron stoppers. Even if not to guard Lebron, Heat have mobile big men, and they all have range.
He is still a lot of talent/length, and athleticism.
I would hate to see him go to the Heat, we don't have any mobile defensive big men that can go out of the 3pint line and come back in time.
I don't know if JJ is going to be offered a contract, he might want more than the vet min.
With all the age we have on the roster already, I feel as though we should be acquiring some fresh young legs, under 26-30, players that are in the "PHYSICAL PRIME".
A balance of veterans and young bucks, young legs vs determination, energy vs leadership, hunger vs control, and athleticism vs determination.
Darko, was once a solid rotation center, he got the 5m a year for a reason.
Look back to see what did Darko do RIGHT after the trade for 2 straight years?
I don't want to get back in a debate about that, I have done in enough the past.
His next year is team option, so amnestying him would be a good thing for Darko.
I think a team should take a chance on him with his contract.
Twolves are clearing roome for Battum, like the way moved out Jamal Crawford, ZVBO, AL Harrintgon, etcs.
Pevlovic is their starting center and he is another solid Euro Center.
With our lack of roster spots, I probably wouldn't want Darko because he cannot play PF/C, only Center.
Darko would be a great pick up for Nets of the waivers, his contract has value, being a team option for the following year.
Darko is a a decent rebounder/defender and shot blocker. He has had some injury problems the past 2 years.
He has some post moves and can hit a 12 footer, pretty agile for a center.
If Dolan doesn't mind paying TAX, he would not be a bad pickup for a rotational player, and a trading pawn to use at the deadline/draft day.
