Melo with 42 points and we only put 85 up on the board. He needs help. Miracle we hung in there as long as we did. Good fight today though, was worried we were going to bend over on national tv.

We need you, STAT - get well soon.

Hopefully we find our offense before the Boston game on Tuesday. Biggest game left on the schedule.

doesn't trust? i don't think that's fair. he was passing... guys just weren't making plays.

I think he meant the part of the game where Melo went Hero Ball.

where else was melo gonna go? tyson and novak can't create their own shots, shump had 3pts on the day and looked either limited by his ankle or nervous. and JR was chucking, too. 4th qtr offense was all JR and Melo because no one else stepped up.

Landry again with the momentum changing offensive EFF ups, game totally turned once he got blocked by bosh.

And despite all that it was still a close game. and we are missing key players while the heat weren't. So why exactly dont you think we can beta them in a few weeks when we will be healthier?

and you guys wanted to face the heat in the first round? seriously??? it might be different if amar'e plays... but SERIOUSLY?!??!!

we are missing two of our starters. Every time we play teh heat we are msising key people. At full strength we could beat the heat

That's all the more reason why the Knicks should have took one of their key players out.

I HATE the Miami Heat, as all real NYK fans should.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

The lost hurts but not that bad. We have a weekness on the boards. Chandler only had 5 boards. Made some bad decisions in the final 6 minutes but it is what it is. We need Amar'e to beat the Heat. So when we go small we have scoring at the five. Jeffries does not give you that and it will open the floor. You beat the heat with great 5 play or great point guard play. What we do know is that no one in the NBA can guard Melo right now and that is great for the offense. Some easy missed shots by Fields(sorry dude) and this is a different game. Ny just need one more person who can break down the D off the dribble.

I know some don't wanna hear this but it's the truth! You're not beating one of those teams in 7 games relying on ISO ball.

We need a second scorer, that's why we lost.

Nah, we need LSS offense so we can get blown out because Lin, Stat and JJ2 are hurt........Shut up meg!!!

You can't oversimplify it like that. All of those 4th qtr possessions, we ended up with poor spacing, no player or ball movement, no PnR!!! Meanwhile the Heat killed us with PnR, spread floor, Ball and Player movement.

I agree with you Fields was a blackhole of crappyness. Melo should have done what he did most of the game. Drive to the hoop if defender comes from weakside find open man, if not score. When he just jacks up a crappy 3 its basically a turnover if it does not go down. We are playing to small so we won't get the rebound.

Not to mention, at least 3 of those were rushed prayers at the end of the game. VERY efficient tonight, unfortunately it was just him out there.

This team has ADD. How can you keep the came close so long, lead by 4 and now trail by double digits. This team is so freaking immature. So hard to root for them when they can play so well, suddenly lose focus and be blown away.

This was a game we should've won. This was a game we had to establish we won't let it be easy on opponents visiting MSG. The Heat are not playing well and this was very winnable.

Why did we lose? We didn't follow the gameplan in the last 7 minutes and played to lose shooting so many jumpers, missing our defensive assignaments, failing to secure the rebound and giving up easy baskets.

This is a disgusting team because we ARE a good team. When you play so well without Lin and State, you have no excuses. When you get up by 4 in the last minutes of the fourth, its INEXCUSABLE to lose and by so many points.

INEXCUSABLE LOSS! Miami isn't that great of a team and allowing them so many easy shots and shooting terrible jumpers is idiotic. To allow the Heat a sweep of you and they could possibly be your playoff opponent when being more focused would've netted you a HUGE win? PHUK IT!!! Horrible loss!

WE WOULD HAVE BEAT THEM IF WE HAD PLAYED BASKETBALL IN HE LAST HALF OF THE 4TH q, WHATEVER WE WERE DOING OUT THERE, BASKETBALL HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.

come on, man. they played fine. the heat are a better team. knicks are down some players and don't have the depth.

this wasn't the knicks not executing, it was the heat beating the knicks.

I disagree we didnt execute we missed a lot of open shots

We became a three point shooting team and our committed unforced turnovers to lose the game and our defense was caught napping afew times during the 14-1 run.

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

James 29, Wade 28. Anthony 42. Pretty simple to me.

team only went heavy Iso Melo when rest of team were missing everything. I disagree. We need to hit shots regardless if they come open from ISO Melo or from Movement. Still have to hit your shots. Fields missed open shots, Novak, Shump...all the role players play'd a bad offensive game today.

See that's the kind of thing that just gets overplayed. You think that they did it only going ISO like we did? They actually ran plays and used PnR, Spread the floor and made smart passes. I implore you to go back and look at the 4th qtr plays they ran and the ones we ran!!!!

Wade and Lebron were exclusively ISO'ing the last 4 minutes of the game.

Watch the game again. That's the exact thing the Heat did to us in the 4th to put the game away.
