And Novak?

Well Melo was happy at post game end
says all was good at practice when he talked to D'Antoni so rest came as shock

As far as the win Melo stated he will text D'Antoni after the game & reach out to coach MDA

But Knicks won a MUST needed win!

well, he actually tried tonight. and was in the proper spots, something that hadn't happened in a while.

look, i'm happy they won, but i never think it's a good idea to cater to a diva.

though i said this earlier in the thread, this may be like the 99 season where JVG and Ernie clashed and one of them had to go to save the season. sucks that MDA had to fall on the sword, but if it fixes the team, so be it.

beat the pacers by 30 and i will be impressed.

And Melo actually hustling on D. The whole thing is crazy. It was good to see the team stick together.

Wouldn't be surprised if Woody runs the same offense to appease lin & davis but gets his players to play harder

glad we don't have to play the blazers again this season, the way shump and JR behaved at the end was not cool. let's see some of that accountability, hopefully.

Yes, sir!!! It's a sweet song that has me taking it back to '88 and doing "The James", the Wop, the Cabbage Patch and the Running Man!

Where's the Soul Train Line? I feel like dancing!

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

Doubt it. MWood was chillin on the bench like he didn't mind. Probably won't see that again though.

Love the way Chandler stuck up for Melo and his teamates. Said, it was unfair to put the blame on Melo and that people always look for the scapegoat and someone to point the finger at. Talked about people overanalyzing body language, etc. Lastly, he said sometimes a team needs a change to shake things up. Cant say enough about Chandler.

Its a great group of guys. I remember earlier in the season Novak saying he had never played with a group of guys that got a long so well with each other. Said it was a special group.

Did melo say it was a different system? This was the same system MDA had with the superstars actually giving effort. Maybe I am wrong and woody was able to install a totally new system between nap time and game time.

woodson ran the system where melo didn't sulk and quit. it's much more effective.

I'd rather sweep them in the home-and-home series by any score.

fair enough. beat indiana once this weekend and it's a solid sign. sweep them this weekend and i will be a believer that firing MDA, however crappy, was the right move, a la firing Ernie in 99.
