Just got home from the game And it was just freakin awesome. At the last wizards-knicks game I couldn't believe the lack of energy and how many times they just stood there and watched Melo. Amare barely got a touch and it was driving me up the wall! The play was just stagnant until Shump showed up. This was a total 180, the energy was through the roof, the ball movement was actually there and it was just so much fun to watch. I'll watch the replay in a while but I'm pretty sure us NYK fans made our presence known.

I got some pics of the signs ppl are talking about lol...the best def was: "who says we can't drive." LMAO

Lin & D'Aintoni share a laugh...probably a good caption this photo.

That is key and Amare comes back first so we ease him in. He should have no problem offensively as he is accustomed to this style of play. Where we will lose out if defensively. The team defense has been so much better with JJ2. Amare better D up!

Then you ease Melo into the flow. Hopefully he is watching and will just let the game come to find without forcing the issue.

Melo has to buy in if this team is ever going to go deep into the playoffs. If he does having a guys like Melo/Amare come playoff time will really payoff

hope you correct on destroying WIZ
but isn't this notion a little bit pre-mature ?
I know this is the lame Washington Wizard team however

Knicks are banged up missing alot of players and their bench like Walker,Douglass hasnt exactly took advantage of any
BENCH minutes with their lack of production

Besides we know the NY Knicks play down to an opponent's level even the Weak Wizards whom will show up at least..
Knicks played 2 games well with Asian sensation Lin but I'll have to wait and see if we can destroy Wizards

At least win the game

DJMUSIC, I personally guarantee victory.

In an earlier thread I guaranteed Lin would average 8 assists per game, at least, the rest of the way, and so far I'm right on the money.

Marbury&1Crossover....
my man you're 150% right on that super prediction brother! *lol
J.Lin was great ! pg star in the making and DUNKING ? Yao ming woulda been proud cause Yao doesnt even have to jump when he once played da' game

Love this post game moment - a reporter asks D'Antoni, "Is there a current or past player that Jeremy reminds you of?"

D'Antoni answers with a big smile, "Well, that's pretty easy, but I'm not going there."

He finally has his Nash.

I made the same comment. Stat is coming back first and he'll fit in fine, Lin just needs to get him the ball in motion. No problem. With Melo it may be more complicated but I think it will work out. Melo will have to adjust. I don't mind the ISO's on occasion but he has to adjust his game and get others involved more. His scoring might not change, just his efficiency. But if he isn't shooting well he better start deferring. Like when he played in Jeremy's first game and took that 3 at the end the other night (And missed) - I just felt like he was trying to steal Jeremy's thunder - I mean he was shooting bad, why take that shot?

And then Jorts will be back later this month. That will be really nice, he can shoot from the outside and finish inside a bit.

Was Wall's expression after ShaoLin's banker priceless or what?

I'm thinking Wall is the next Stevie Franchise, but it's not like he's got a terrific supporting cast there, right?

At some point we stop blaming the 'supporting cast' and just call it how it is: John Wall sucks.

This might be off topic, but why doesn't this sucking also apply to JR Smith?

Wall is an incredible individual talent. I would have to say he is a 2 guard as he does not understand yet what an NBA point does.

Nor does his support cast.

Think Teddy Lenois owner of Wiz is looking at the group MDA had out there thinking "This coach is a free agent after the summer and his rag tag group is beating the snot out of my guys?"

Wall was handed the keys and all the perks that go with it. That is not healthy.
