I'm not defending Stephon. You seem to get the impression that I'm doing that. I'm simply saying that I think Isiah isn't using him well at all. If Stephon isn't doing what he does best, he can hurt you a ton since he is so one-dimensional. Thats why I don't see why both him and Francis are on this roster. If you aren't going to get the most out of them, why have them on this roster?

Good points, agreed. But why curtail a whole team to suit Marbury when even at his best, his teams lose.

We heard before the game that Popovich would bury us to avenge Larry.

Fuck that. It didn't happen.

Popovich is smart enough to know that they don't get anything out of putting the pedal to the metal the entire game.

If the Spurs didn't lose interest after getting back up 15 there wouldn't have been a comeback.

The Spurs still almost lost the game.

The Knicks played harder for Isiah than they ever did for Larry.

So you admit the players quit last year and that's why they lost so many games.

I think they were driven to quit by Larry. it will be humorous if Isiah drives them to do the same thing though. it's going to be a loooong season.

The SPurs are not that much more talented than us, player for player ... so why are they so much better?????
LOL

I'm serious. You can't deny we have talent. But yet we are horrible.

The Spurs have players with high basketball IQs. They have very good players off the bench. They have guys that play on both sides of the ball. They have a player in Tim Duncan who is one of the best frontcourt players of all-time. They have excellent chemistry. They have a great coach. Do we really need to give you more reasons?

Malik probably knows RoboTim better than anyone, so that was a great move.

No post game? They went straight to regularly scheduled programming?!?

Why do I get the feeling that if the Knicks pulled this game out there would be one hell of a postgame.

Only reason Knicks came back was cause Spurs fell asleep at the wheel and took them few mins to wake up and when they did lead went from 1 point to 9 in less than 90 secs.

Exactly.

And as far as taking the "comeback" and building on it, it was all based on freelance offense. There's absolutely nothing that they can learn from that.
