Probably. They're about as injured as we were in the playoffs last year.

Papabear Says

How is that? But anyway just like the coaches say they have 14 -15 pro players on the team. It gives another player a chance to get in the game. I'm sorry that Denver have some injured players but so does just about every team in the league. That's why they have 15 players on the team. Curry is playing on one leg. David Lee is out for the season. No excuses for Denver.

You can't give excuses to the Knicks and no one else. Well at least if you want to appear credible you can't. Our big 3 played in 13 of 15 games last year against Miami. They were playing injured just like most of Denver's starters are, except Gallo, who's actually out.

These clowns were bragging on HOW DEEP Denver roster was at every position, now they are on the verge of getting ousted with home court advantage gone with their great reg season record....cough cough.

George Karl is 1-12 in his last 13 postseason games, their newly crowned go to guy flopped and lost the ball out of bounds at crunch time with the same type of theatrics Gallup used to try and get a call when people play good defense on him.

JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Clowns? You're taking this a bit too seriously. Depth doesn't matter if almost every one of those players referenced is injured.

So, these version of the Nuggs get an excuse from you, but you never mention how the Melo version of the Nuggs were out-manned and frankly out coached when he was losing to the Spurs and Lakers while being under-seeded.....

the melo version of the nuggets failed every year for 8 seasons....

Also....the purpose of my response to Bonn was that when you gus are criticising him for lack of playoff success in Denver, its always a black-n-white argument. Siumilar to your post its "Failed for 8 seasons" You guye never mention that his teams were the higher seed in most of them and wasn't favored to win against the Spurs and Lakers....Dont start adding color to the argument now (Nuggs are injured) that Melo is gone. Those teams Melo played with didn't have a chance to win in at least 6 of those 8 seasons....

You're lumping me in the wrong crowd. I don't judge players by how effective their teams are, or at most I'd give only a small weight to that because it confounds the player's performance with that of his teammates. At times, I reply to others' comments though. I might point out Melo's playoff struggles if others' are claiming we are fortunate to have a true go to player for the playoffs but that's just a reply to the internal inconsistency in their argument.

I could possibly be lumping you in, not sure. I just remember arguing with numerous posters (remember some screen names, not all) on here who would always point to Melo's lack of success in the playoffs (as a way to knock him) and not one time would they mention that his team were the higher seed or were losing to the likes of the Spurs and Lakers. If the Nuggs lose this series (they still have a very good shot to win) those same posters will add color to the Nuggs argument by saying they are injured. Not one time did these same posters mention anything about Melo's teammates or the coach, but since Melo is supposed to be a star player, he was supposed to advance his team regardles...Dont remember if you personally was involved in those direct discussions, but I do know I've gone back-n-forth on you Melo as a player in the past....

Game. Set. Match.

Losing an all star like David Lee is more crushing.

Faried is only in his 2nd game back.
Lawson might be fully back now - he obviously just had a great game.
Not sure about McGee - the shoulder injury last night looked really bad and he barely played afterward.

I totally agree with you. And you know something else? I thought the coach ran the team. Karl was the coach for the 8 years Melo was in Denver. If he didn't like the way Melo was playing then change it. Karl was the coach and not Melo. They road Melo's back. Melo put butts in the seats. Don't blame Melo blame the coach. The coach draws up the game plan. Karl have a history of loosing in the playoffs.

I've watched more than a few Nuggs games this year and marveled how how deep they are. Watching them now, the only guy that I notice is missing is Gallo. Maybe I'm missing soemthing thats why I asked the question. With that said, the Warriors aren't nearly as deep as the Nuggs and thre lost of Lee really hurts them...And lets not pretend that Bogut is 100% either...

The Warriors have their injuries too. I think the Nuggets are a little more depleted but the Warriors are almost a 50 win team in the west and they might be ahead of Denver in terms of rebuilding. They've definitely had more years to work on it.

It would be one thing if those guys weren't playing, but each player you mentioned are on the court playing, so not sure you can use that as a legitimate excuse especially if you dont acknowledge the other side of the ball with David Lee being out. Bogut aint 100% either. Hell, its the playoffs everyone is banged up....

Oh give me a break. They are all back playing ball. Lawson scored 35 points I don't call that injured. If the Denver loose this series it will be because they were beat by a team more injured then them. Let's be real.

I did acknowledge that the Warriors were depleted.
I wouldn't downplay Gallo being out, though. In most statistical analyses he comes out as their best or 2nd best player. The Nuggets have been hit hard but they still have enough players that a series loss would be a disappointment.

People said we were injury depleted last playoffs when our big 3 was still playing though.

Ha Ha Ha So this is where they hide while our Knicks is having thier greatest season in almost 14 years being led by Melo. some of you just can't stand it. I am so glad to see some of our Knicks fan blogers debating them on this thread and not letting them get away with lies and wrongfull bashing of Melo and the Knicks.

I don't think anyone's bashing Melo for the playoffs. He's played his role as a scoring specialist quite well. You seem to be in an alternate universe.

This. All the posters who were overjoyed when the Knicks were losing are nowhere to be found in the Knick playoff game threads. LoL! I am sure they will show up in the Knick playoff game threads if and when the Knicks lose a game or two...

His playoff record has been used to put him down countless times.
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

As a scoring specialist??? You are in an alternate universe which is this thread. Melo is the Knicks leader and if it was not for him we would not be where we are now. scoring specialist?? I bet it hurt you to say that.
