Plz Dr fence(Nalod) is always right, he can go either way concerning the knicks and it's socially acceptable here. When you go both ways (praising NY 1 day - condemning next day)concerning the knicks you are always gonna draw people to your point of view. I've figured out that philospohy of his a while ago. LOL
JAMES DOLAN on Isiah : He's a good friend of mine and of the organization and I will continue to solicit his views. He will always have strong ties to me and the team.

Fence walker or politically adaptable? Nalod hated the trade but said from day one would keep an open mind. I was not a fan of Melo for many reasons. He has won me over. Just cuz a dude puts on a uniform and is a knick all of a sudden I become "homer joe" and worship him. Ok, old news. Condemn the knicks? No I condem some of the things they have done. Whats my creed? "It all gets sorted out on the court"........... Gushing childhood worship of the team "just because" is not my thing. I'll make fun of it. But I don't crap on everyones thread relentlessly. Sometimes "Sitting on the fence" is a way of being objective to others ideas and being respectful. I generally don't get into many arguements anymore, its time consuming and gets off subject. Dr. Nalod Fence is logical. Give me the wins and/or entertain me is what I ask from this team. Being a knick fan is not a lifestyle choice for me. At least I try to inject some entertainment value in my critisism. PIctures of biblical worship of a golden calf depicted as "mooby" from the Movie "dogma" is at least an attempt. Better than taking a "TKF" route and defend my position over an over. But Im honest to say in the case of Melo that he needs to have "moments" to earn the star treatment that was afforded him before and its why he gets a bad wrap. He has to earn his stripes to earn the respect not given by SOME media and SOME personalities (like Barkley). Knicks led by Melo need to get to the WCF's to earn that respect. Nalod thinks he has had a great season and is on a trajectory to fulfil some of the premature hype. Just win baby! It all gets sorted out with the Wins and losses! |

By doing that the expectations are higher and thus those very "Moobyites" have elevated the expectations. Melo is a hell of a player, but what is suspect is how bright does his star shine? He needs some "Patches" to get the cred. LIke I said, its not my arguement. I think he is an allstar player and has played better this year than any other. So he is earning more Cred with me. Its his play on the court, not some posters convincing me. I think one ranking had him moving from 17th to 9th. I have no problem with him considered a top 10 player this year. Maybe top ten players are supposed to finish in first place, and advance to ECF's? For some, the worshipped prophet is fulfilling his destiny? I like that. If I was wrong about him being so honored prematurely and Melo grew into that player, I'll be happy the team succeeded. IN the past, there was lots of hype and not much backing it. |

Just playin on the typo - Melo never going to lead these Knicks to the Western Conference Finals. I guarantee it! I agree with the point though, the only proven way to silence critics is to go out and win - ask LeBron. I'm pro Melo, I believe he can carry this team. We've finally climbed back to a point of relevence, now we just have to sustain it to reach respect. From the fan point of view, I think it's pretty easy to ignore a lot of the excess criticism. 2 wins away from our first playoff series win this decade. Enjoy the ride, regardless of expectations, we've already passed our most recent bench marks.

![]() Looks like Twolves are getting rid of Kahn- terrible GM who tried to screw us repeatedly one offseason due to his bizarre daddy issues with Donnie Walsh.
http://hangtime.blogs.nba.com/2013/04/26/saunders-likely-back-to-timberwolves-replacing-kahn/ Still, is Saunders really the answer? I don't get it- as a perpetual lottery team which no FA wants to play for, all the Twolves need is a GM who is good at drafting- that's it! Why does their owner not grasp that?! I can't believe how many top draft picks they've squandered over the years... |

Didn't they draft 2 point guards back to back in the 1st round? LOL, yea that's right, Ricky Rubio at 5 and Jonny Flynn at 6. Talk about all time draft blunders. At least Rubio's panned out, but what a waste of a high lottery pick. |

Morey would have been fired too if he didnt acquire James Harden. David Kahn was assembling a young up and coming team. NY Knicks - Retirement home for players and GMs

And even worse, he then drafted Ty Lawson IN THE SAME DRAFT, (probably the best PG of the three), and then traded him to the nuggets for a future pick! When you need help at every position and have traded players in order to get an extra draft pick, why the heck do you then draft 3 PG and trade one of them away?! |
