Celtics fans are really quiet. What a lousy fanbase!

Last night certainly suggested a sweep.

I'll be damned, Cavs showing up.

Did not see that coming. Maybe the Cavs did know what they were doing when they tanked their seeding.

Very excited to see the Celtics lose. :)
I think Evan Mobley was a big difference maker. He did most of his damage in the 1st half and presumably was a magnet for the defense in the 2nd half. They need him to play like a legit scoring threat, rather than just a bit player on offense.

OKC's youth is showing. PJ also remembered how to shoot threes.

Didn't watch... was he showing the Knicks how good a small backcourt could be?

How has his defense been?

We so busy with loving JB we forgot DM been there for 5 years doing this.
Cavs are not a great team, but they got talent.
Im not talking **** about other teams. Our infirmary is pretty sad looking right now. Our guys are playing with heart.
but I will always enjoy a Celtic loss..

Oh, we still also stuck on JB trouncing Utah and DM regularly, don't you worry about that.

He showed out with athleticism absolutely obliterating Tatum's attempt to guard him. He ran a clinic on Tatum.

Defense is a team thing in Cleveland. Against Boston's 5 out offense, its hard to entirely tell how individual defense is doing.

Celtics lost the game in the 3rd by going like 0-7 from 3. The 5 out offense without KP just isn't as effective with Horford. They waived the surrender flag with 8 minutes left in the 4th.

Celts left the paint unguarded on Defense and Mitchell made them pay for it with all sorts of moves. He used all of his moves to get to the rim. Meanwhile, the Cavs packed the paint (more like the Knicks) and dared Boston to beat them from 3. I don't think the Celts going shooting 22% from 3 is a defense thing vs a cold night. Live or die with the 3.

This is right - the Celtics rely on the 3 as much if not more than any team and the 3 just means more variablity. They are just so damn good at shooting it that their off nights come infrequently (vs. lets say, a night where the Donte and Deuce are off and the 3 is not a part of what we're doing). They coupled it with more lapses defensively. Hey they lost 1 to a shorthanded Miami too. I don't know if this carries over to other games.

Don't call it a comeback. Jokic showing why he's MVP. Ant showing why he's still a problem tho.

Agree - at least in the short term.

Not positive but I think combined PJ and Gafford cost Dallas 3 (?) #1 picks BUT when you watch this team in the court with PJ/Jones/Jr and Gafford next to Kyrie/Luka —- the 3 role players make them SO LONG.

Then you bring Lively off bench with guys like Hardaway, Green and Exum they have a really nice balance - shame we missed in Lively last year via the Mavs pick.

one might even say we don't draft him given our center situation.

It would totally be interesting to me if a Lively type player was available to draft for the Knicks with one of their picks this year… would they take him? And then Mitch becomes available to trade IF - and only if - the right trade comes along.

iHart seems to be ready.
