Sucks. Hate seeing the youngins go down like that

I think IT had a congenital condition. I think Killian's condition was just fluky. The good thing is that he's young. I hope he recovers smoothly.

What a shame- a lot of Knicks fans were high on him. I wasn’t, but it sucks to see someone’s career derailed so early by something like this

yeah he was high up there for PG options. I was honestly thrilled when Det took him because I was losing my mind at the prospect of Obi dropping and he did

Glad he got a 3 year 50 mil extension last month!!! small consolation but he at least was recognized monetarily for his work.
Fultz shows how hard it is to draft at times. This kid, right or wrong was the no. 1 pick and Philly even moved up to get him! Hindsight is easy but just goes to show not all players translate. Cade or Suggs, one or the other might not be the savior even if we draft them.
I said this years ago that the best way to draft is to have as many opportunities as reasonable and create luck that way. Philly for all its mistakes still has contended well the last few years.

Wonder if the injuries to Fultz (magic) and Hayes (Pistons) will make them open to trading for Frank or DSJ as a stop gap

I think the Pistons would be more interested in signing Omari Spellman off of waivers to continue their big man theme. Magic could just stand Pat with Anthony and MCW until a better fit comes along.

Luka "Tubby" Doncic put the Mavs on his back to beat the Nugs in OT. Oh well.

Meanwhile the Nets beat Philly without their two superstars. Kyrie Irving's absence explained as "personal reasons" but some "Kyrie being Kyrie" speculation going on. I've felt all along we dodged a bullet and this certainly doesn't cause me to think less so.

I guess we can never speculate on personal reasons but before the game Nash said he had tried to reach out to Kyrie and didn't get anything back and didn't know why the player was missing the game outside of personal reasons.

That's a tough pill to swallow from a leader on your team

According to what I just heard on WFAN, until a half hour before tip-off coaches and players didn't know anything. You take his history into account it's hard not to lean into a negative take. At best it comes cross as massive disrespect. I hope there is nothing serious he or his family are dealing with, but even under harsh circumstances you pick up the phone, simple enough.
