This game looked so much like the last 4. Melo goes off in the first 3 qtrs then gets doubled in the 4th and the ball swings to the open man. Plus Felton continued his attack on the rim in the 4th qtr. The finally JR makes big timely buckets. Throw in a timely Chandler Block and Kidd doing something useful and the script has been nearly the same.

Let it be known to all. The knicks are for real. They are zoned in and hungry. Great game and Melo MVP!

I just hope somebody draws attention to the reffing this game. I dont wanna watch a whole post season full of this ****
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

Side note: Durant's ego contributed to OKC's loss. HE should not have moved over to guard Anthony even though Melo figured out Ibaka. Melo can guard Durant but Durant can not guard Melo. OKC should have learned this by now.

Woodson might have to pull a Phil Jackson going into the series

Best time to be on a roll..heading in the playoffs.

Hopefully we can carry over that momentum into the playoffs and surprise a lot of people.

Playoff style win in a hostile environment. Total Team effort. I'd say the best win of the season.

Gave up 120, but you are playing ball on the road against the Thunder. This was arguably the best win of the season in terms of timing, importance and quality. I thought the Thunder got all the foul calls, but we made big play after big play and several huge shots. Had an answer for every single run. I am still in awe of Carmelo on his 2nd and 3rd leaps. Once he got within a few feet of the basket he outworked everyone on the floor. JR- the guy has no conscience and when he scores like this Knicks will beat anyone...

Exactly what I was thinking- they obviously were playing some sort of game amongst themselves to see who'd be the first to give Melo FTs- absolute joke, the fact he couldn't even get a call when the Thunder were trying says it all.

Well F*** YOU REFs! We WIN!!!!!

One of the most pathetically biased reffed games I've seen this season, and we still win despite missing almost our entire front line, against one of the best teams at home. WHAT A GREAT, GREAT WIN!

Also great to see the board united and happy for a change- even the most sceptical posters get to feel good about this one!

Love the way Felton has played this winning streak, love the way the Knicks have played during this winning streak!

Felton played great down the stretch, but in the first half and during several games this year, he's done a lot of that I'm gonna stop playing and complain, throw your hands up in the air crap. Leads to too many easy baskets on the other side....gotta keep the composure and keep playing. I have to say, guy gets into the lane with ease though. He may look portly, but he has elite quickness and good acceleration.

Knicks' Longest Win Streaks

Sunday's win was the Knicks' 12th straight, the third-longest single-season winning streak in franchise history.
The Knicks made the NBA Finals the two times they had longer streaks.

Season Streak Season Result
1969-70 18 Won title
1993-94 15 Lost, NBA Finals
2012-13 12* ?
1968-69 11 Lost, Div. finals
1972-73 11 Won Title

This feels a little bit like 1993-94- the 15 game win streak was late in the season- I believe in March, and really got them going into the playoffs. This team is very much the opposite in terms of the way it plays, but they are showing some of that toughness in the way they have played hurt and battled through injuries. Its been a funny season- great start, forgettable middle and whats shaping up to be a great finish.

This is exactly what I was talking about when I said "if they get hot at the right time, some damage will go in the playoffs",

now we are streaking, packing the punches at the right time,

DON'T COOL OFF, GANG

India? Lucky you, I looove Indian food. The clip shows Felton diving for the ball and poking it to Smith for an off balanced 3 to seal the game. Great play by both of them when it mattered.
