Aside from the "trade him for Lin" post (which im pretty sure was a joke), the posts I've seen about him are just people basically calling him out for his horrific play tonight. I dont get why criticizing someone keeps getting called hate.

Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

Chase us off the 3pt line and make us shoot 2pt shots we're not accustomed to, or contested 3s, or contested 2s we're in trouble because the team prefers and primarily looks for 3s. We're used to playing a certain way after 20gms+ into the season. We are who we are, a jump shooting 3ball top heavy team.

Also if we make or miss all teams need to do is take the ball and go... we're in trouble.

But what took the cake tonight for pure disgrace was very late in the game Douglas is about to check in and the PA-Emcee has the Gall/Gumption/Balls to play.....

Lin proved tonight for this game he's just as good if not better than Felton all he needs is time and experience. I believe Melo or no Melo we would have lost as they handled us in Houston with Melo.

The only positive tonight was Copeland.....whatever

I don't think it's that serious.

It's a long season, teams are bound to have a few stinkers.

Let's rub our wounds with saw dust and move on into the twilight. Only way to go.

Nah it's cause for concern because of recent if you haven't noticed our defense continues to slip. Go ahead and think this chuck system will work in the end. I won't be convinced unless this team proves to be the first to play and win this way all the way to the promise land.

Very good post. Some posters get so upset of you call out a player who plays awful. Its not just felton ronnie brewer has been awful for like 15 games, tyson was flu tyson again tonight. Kidd was awful too

Some people have called him out all season.

Do people realize that he is having an even worse shooting year than he did in Portland?

Posters can still be blind and say how great he is or that they would not even trade him for a guy like stephen curry (check that thread to see how many posters actually said that they would not do this trade)

He is really not a good basketball player.

I don't believe in or understands Win Shares but .068 for his career?

C'mon. If you think that this was his best game, then so be it. Put Prigs in. We do have 3 guys capable of running the point.

Over reaction post. So one game versus a full season performance shows that Lin is better than Felton?? Now that's a utter embarrassment. Did u feel that way last night when Lin had 7 points against the raptors?

Yeah I dare teams to chase us off the 3pt line when we have melo and amare healthy. They will be out of position playing chase defense all night. We had contested 3s tonight because of one reason. MELO!

I admit he has had some good games like against the heat and spurs but he has equally as many stinkers. I cant say im confident in him in the playoffs

Really I don't find it humorous at all. He would get a serious talking to before he punches out tonight. I mean what was he doing saluting Toney Douglas? A player we traded for Marcus Camby who's sitting on the bench collecting beer/baby fat while we're cutting Douglas' check. Nah blank that

Oooohhhh this has me a little hot under the chin and behind the ears.

I am worried and have been for a while about how Felton runs our offense

These are valid concerns and will bite us in the ass come playoff time

This is what I could not stand about baron davis

He only plays like this when he needs to be the first shooting option if we are talking observations. A fully healthy team Felton won't even have a opportunity to put up 20 + shots. When we have all our options he plays way better. He is reverse Lin. Lin plays better when he has less options to pass to and worse when he is a 2nd/3rd option. He wasnt the cause of tonight's loss..it was the full team loss. Especially defensively.

So you like Felton as a PG and don't believe he takes awful shots even with Melo on the floor?

There is a reason why we got him so cheap - you get what you pay for.

He doesn't hurt us with a healthy team and more times then not helps us. Yeah he has some ugly games time to time but that happens. We are 18 and 6 and his effort is one of the reasons. Every team has flaws in their starting lineup. You can't have 5 all star starters play for u.

Final

The Rockets has sadly shown the League the blueprint for beating knicks
just get them in a speed game and make knicks think they need to play offense to keep up
then and there Knicks wont play D' and the faster teams knocking down shots and getting to
hoops on penetration are going to win all the time if you choose not to defend

Sadly give 3 assist to:
1) Rockets for coming in knowing NY wants to outscore folks & cant'
2) Dwight Howard legal hard foul knocking Melo Anthony on his ass out of action again.
Melo only other guy other than Tyson whom can play nasty demeanor hoops and give other team something to think about

At least when Lakers was losing ALL them games DHoward and Metta World Peace (see Serge Ibaka) was knocking someone down
to let them know we'll see you again maybe down the road!

3) Huge assist to PG Raymond Felton for his foolish 1-on-1 play trying to out-do J.Lin again, epic fail again
trying to get his 25-30 shots again and looking like a DUD again whenever Knicks lose he's a good reason, so goes Ray
and sadly so goes the knicks win OR lose.

We did lose in Houston when Melo played right? It was essentially him who had us with a good percentage that night too but we lost.

you also can't have a PG with awful PG skills.

You really need to check his stats - TS% of 47.x percent - [shudder]

I don't care about tonight.

I care that we don't have a real PG for the playoffs (AGAIN)!

People loved Baron Davis here too. I knew he would kill us in the playoffs and guess what?

So we lost to the Heat last year because of Baron Davis?? Lol. Our chances beating the championship favorites went down the toilet because of baron davis? That's what you are telling me. Baron did not hurt us against the heat by the way. So I'm not sure where that comes from. He played decent defense vs wade as had a couple good games playing with a depleted team. I commend him for giving his all for us actually.

In the playoffs I'd rather have Felton then a Lin cause I know Felton isn't backing down from anyone and won't be scared of the stage. Especially against the heat.

The only reason Douglas was extended was so that he could fit a salary slot in a trade. Glad he is playing well and splitting time with Lin most nights but he might have been cut if grunwald didn't see him as a piece to include in a trade.

I don't feel like it, see you guys wednesday typing Felton 30 times again.

I disagree with this on every level!

We did not lose because of BD. BD just stinks and has a really low bball IQ. He gave effort and so does Felton. I have played PG for 30 years - I like a PG who sees the floor and makes others better - and can make other passes other than alley oops.

I would take Lin 110 times out of 100. I don't know what Lin will be but I do know that without difficulty, it will be better than Felton.

LOOK AT HIS NUMBERS!

You get what you pay for.
