Man, I am going to pull for the team but judging by this forum and other forums, I am a part of a group, not anywhere near as excited for this season with Lin gone. I already know I am not getting league pass to start the season.

Crush - Can't compare the two. If you are really going to enjoy a game, it is painful to watch it in a small box, even if it is free. I don't mind paying was my point. Now, it's sort of a wait and see approach as I'm not happy with letting Lin walk. Just my little way of expressing my discontent in a more actual way.

If Amare is healthy, we finally have a team that might be able to compete with the Heat and no one is excited???... The story of a kid out of no where by passed by scouts is a better storyline??..

The fact that teams whiffed on this kid who is now one of the most popular players is a GREAT story line.. much better than amare being healthy.. we have had a healthy amare before with carmelo.. we know how this story goes.. OK...Amare play was hampered by not having a PG to run the pick and roll with him...So, not end of story...You saw more iso in the playoffs and down the stretch because they had no choice..4 starters were hurt or sick in the playoffs...Mr. Anti-ISO(MDA) ran iso last year in the playoffs against Boston for the same reasons, the rest of the team broke down...By the way, I'm here to watch the Knicks compete and challenge the Heat, I'm not here to watch a kid's storyline, nice as it turned out to be, It's still about winning a Championship...At least for me it is... |

Victor Cruz's story is actually better than Lin's but of course he's not asian, just a super bowl champion. Blue & Orange 4 Life!

Well that seems to be your theme which isn't the reason I watch the Knicks...Knicks are watchable no matter who dons the uniform...Lin will never be bigger than the Knicks...Winning trumps everything...Lin lost me when he decided he was bigger than the team...When he started waving off Amare and decided he knew better than passing to Melo...Hopefully the extra time in camp will help Felton and Amare get back to the things they were doing two years ago...Go Knicks!!! |

Amare... isn't he Mr. Iso, based on the shots he didn't turn down from the elbow? The biggest issue being that he didn't make them.
