Agreed Holfresh. I mean i blame our team more because they put themselves in this situation. They let many easy games get away that cost them a higher seed

Everybody blamed MDA when they were losing and Dolan gutted the whole roster.
the difference is he lost at an incredible rate again this year with this team. Woodson has won a lot of games and prior to facing the Heat with a depleted roster his record was stellar.

We will never know if things would have come together under MDA. They were obviously broken. But he could have gotten us the 8th seed and Chicago. Then again nobody knew Rose would go down.

I am surprised the Knicks didn't try to get the 8th seed to avoid Miami - they are defending ECF Champs.

Knicks had lost 6 straight when he resigned. I don't think there is much doubt that the Knicks would not have made the playoffs if he stayed. The Knicks lost to the freakin Heat. There is no way the Knicks go 17-7 to beat out Milwaukee if D'Anto stayed in my opinion.

I thought it was 18-6 with the 6 being mostly top teams (CLEVELAND ASIDE )

I think they needed to 17-7 to get the eigth seed which is what Oasis said they would have gotten had D'Antoni not resigned

I said we will never know. I'm not convinced it would have happened - but it could have. Either way this roster is a disaster. I never would have thought it would be this bad with Melo, Stat and Tyson but we are in deep trouble.

Regarding Novak. Yes he is a one trick pony and no he does not run off screens like Ray Allen or Korver but there are plays which involve screens that could get him open. He was also missed by Smith, Anthony and Davis at times. I understand Melo not wanting to throw the cross court pass but he missed him off the PnR too.

I guess this means we're a record breaking team....just not in the good way.

DVR'ed the game...I guess I should stop watching after halftime? I knew it wouldn't be good news when I got home and heard yelling at the tv instead of cheers. Oh well... I'm gonna watch the whole thing anyway I guess.

Is Melo still coming home?

Does anyone think Jax would even like this roster? Do we have the right pieces for him? I'm not so sure.

It's hard not to feel bad for Tyson - he deserves to be on a better team than this. I know he chose to sign here but he probably didn't know what he was getting himself into.

Is this really any surprise? C'mon....we cannot compete with the Heat. Seriously.

I am sure you will follow him to the next team. Is that why you suggested he be traded?

If the diva brought in, we would have not only made the playoffs but maybe win a game or two.

What were you going to buy into. Having Fields jack up shots, Baron. MDA's system got swept last year too.

So I guess we're seeing coaching is not the real problem then...

Sure, but that's no excuse. We lost by 17, not 2. Let's face it. The Knicks blow worse than a $2 hooker.

Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Why not be proud? This was the right team to achieve the dubious record of the longest losing streak in the playoffs. I love these guys. And to do it at MSG? Thats class.

Its all over

My team, Our team played hard as they can
but didn't show up tonite Roster players 1-9 0r 10 whomever played /substituted

Melo stunk, Tyson was average and rest of team had grit but shot their load early late 3rd quarter and still was in the game
prior to 4th quarter.

That's a great Miami team whom can win title but do not play at times like they will.

Dont mind saying I hate Heat. They hate the Knicks. They never respected NY and Miami and their sucka fans will never
respect or appreciate NY Mecca and its sports knowledge. Got all kind of fools tweeting from Miami whom knows our family
tweeting Sh_t about NewYork. Let Miami go and win or try, enjoy it while you can sunshine boys.

As far as Woodson he's trying and coach doing all he can & shouldn't be judged on this playoff failures or prior /current Knick
roster.

This is a tough yr a bad ending to a good beginning with Mike Woodson rescuing Knicks hopes and at least giving NBA Knick fans
an April and May 2012 basketball, good or bad. We had some fun

Like I've said in prior post Next season Knickerbocker fans. We'll be back

The Heat is going to be the team to beat the next 4/5 years..We have 5 guys who can play against the Heat..Melo,STAT,Chandler, Shump and JR..No one else we have can stand up to the Heat..Blame the coach all you want for not running enough screens for Novak..It's pointless resigning those scrubs..Good Night!!
