Im sure Amar'e will easily fit into this. Its Melo who has to balance his game with this game. And if he does, we will quickly recover record-wise.

This is who we are. This is how we have to be to be winners.

Loving it. But the thing that's in my mind is how Melo will put a fork in this and bring it to a grinding halt.

I hope I'm wrong, but...

He was changing his game to fit the team when he started getting hurt. Only fair to give the guy a chance to show that he can sustain it.

Yea, it's fair. But I'm afraid, as a fan, I'm not happy about Melo on this team.

We're 3-0 without the guy. Sure, Nets and Wiz, but also the Jazz. And the best basketball I've seen in a long time, from any team.

Pretty obvious is personal with you because you didn't like the trade from jump.

Well its hasn't worked so far. Its obvious we are much better with an up tempo style. the ball movement is much better

The ball movement is better because we have a Point Guard!! Why is this so hard to understand. We look better because we have a point guard who is going north and south for a change, and collapsing the D and creating openings for his teammates. Lin has also added another scorer to this team that we desperately needed as well.

Someone has got a bit of a hard on for ol melo lol. Just kidding. Look like i said we'll see but people have every right to be skeptical. I mean even when we had a pg last year the knicks struggles when the melo tarde happened. I dont hate on teh guy but i dotn want to see melo dribble into triple teams

We have no choice, so let's hope for the best.

But if Melo waves Lin off even one time, I spit on that BS.

we saw that a little last game and the he got hurt and lin took over

So we should cut shump because he waives off Lin too, but that is different because Shump is on a different level. Also the several series when Fields or Walker went one on one.

If your talking about Billups, he was never a pure pg. He's a good leader and can make tough shots, but her rarely set anyone up for easy shots....

Melo won't be dribbling into triple teams now. The ball will be in Lin's hands. Lin will find the best shot possible whether is alley to TC, drive-kick to Melo, PnR Amare etc

Man some of the melo fans sound like a jealous girlfriend or something lol. Look all i know is that mike d'antoni's system works when you have a good up tempo pg and unselfish play. We know Amare fits in since he has played for mike for years. melo has got to prove it

Melo will get with the program and he's still gonna do Isolation plays because when he's inside 15 ft, he's money. Those of you who wanna give up on Melo had better wake up, he was the only reason we were competitive in the playoff and the playoffs is where you need a Melo and Stat. These guys are not crazy, they will mesh because they now have what was needed all along....a pg who looks for his teammates.

I just got home from work, an missed all but most of the 4th quarter. Love the highlights, though. We win again, Lin dished like a madman, and players like Shump, Chandler, Fields and Novak benefited from the ball distribution and movement.

Oh yeah, I am loving this right now. By the time STAT and Melo get back, they'll be able to fit right in. Imagine the assists that Lin will get then... Whoa.

GO KNICKS. We're taking a 3 game win streak into Friday's game vs. the Lakers. Time to fight our way back into contention and get out of the sub-.500 cellar.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I will take his iso post up anytime, we need that on this team when the defense is protecting well against pnr.

All of a sudden these guys are playing like a team. Its great to see Chandler, Lin and company jumping and bumping so much. Its amazing how much better this team got when Lin was inserted and there was a break from the big two. Novak looks like a star as well.

Not the same. Wall actually scored this game.

Wall put up shots. Could easily have been a 4 for 30 night for him.

Lin played basketball.

Washington area fans very creative with their signs:

"Crotching Tiger..hidden Point Guard"

"Who said we can't drive?"

Our scrubs just blew out another NBA team that is in the process of being "built the right way".
TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

That was a big game for the Wiz. They were at home trying to win 2 in a row for the 1st time. The Knicks minus STAT and Melo was an even match even tho they were missing guys. It's a game that Wall needed to play well and lead his team. Dude just didn't do any leading. Aside from waving off his teammates so he could go ISO.

as weird as it may sound, the melo injury might have come at a great time. and the only reason i say that is because melo can now see what of job that lin is doing being that floor-general, whereas, before he might not have taken him seriously (for lack of a better phrase) i think when melo comes back he does his best to fit into this team and remember guys, melo WANTED to be here, he WANTED to play in NY, so i have no questions where his heart lies. this might actually even might make melo a better scorer because lin getting him the ball in easy spots should only make his job easier.
