Jokes

Did you see the post game after Lin played 20 mins...The MSG studio guys said MDA was desperate to insert Lin in the game...They asked why would he insert what is essentially an NBDL player at that point they were only down 7 points, they had a chance...said Alan Hahn...

Reporters asked MDA after the game if that was a desperate move during the post game....MDA answered, I was just trying to find someone who could run the pick and roll...

I hate the team less tonight. Finally fun to watch on offense. Late game was still forced though. If they build on this then I'll be happy.

What might have hurt this team the most this season is Melo and Amare coming in out of shape. Guess they had legitimate excuses with surgeries but still has made it tough on team. They have not performed at allstar levels yet this season at the same time besides today.

Is it too soon to point out that Gallo is leading the Nuggets with a big lead going into the Fourth?

I follow the Nuggets since the trade but time to move on with the trade. I enjoy more of Knicks if they play the way they did tonight. I still just follow the nuggets cause they are a very good example of what a TEAM game is about.

Enough with Gallo!

He is averging 17 pts a game - WOW!! and is shooting a TD like 29 pct from 3. Please ...

Felton is fat and he woulda been fat for us - chauncy is better

Chandler was a FA

Denver started out better and they are still better - and Karl is a solid coach

And TD has their respect and can direct them? TD is leading the Knicks in 3's attempted! At a whopping 25pct.

That would earn my respect

Yea when they go over video can can point out look here is where it went wrong. Melo didn't move the ball and forced it every time and played right into the defense's hand

at the end of the 3rd when amare was on the bench the lineup was atrocious but early in the 4th Amare was still doing his thing then as the clock wound down the Knicks and Melo tightened up under the pressure. They can definitely learn from this but with this team who knows. They may go on to loss another 9 of 10

I agree that he needs to look more. He is averging almost 5 assists a game and is a good passer.

Would be nice if had guards.

yea he looks so good passing the ball earlier in games then as the game clock winds down he feels the need to play hero of NY. Makes it hard on himself. I'm not just talking about last shot. Melo is our best option with the last shot if its a good shot. I'm talking about the entire 4th quarter when it becomes Melo time. Putting way too much pressure on himself. I have to believe he calls his own plays in the 4th. Because as a coach you prefer to see the ball move for the best shot possible. From Amare or pick and roll to chandler or kick out to Fields, drive by Shump

I agree that he has to trust his teamates more. It would also be nice if they earned his trust. Against Boston, when he carried them in the 4th all were thrilled.

We def need better team ball.

It would be so nice to see Lin eventually get into the mix, cuz we have almost no lane penetration. I think Iman needs to start being more aggressive going to the hole. He had opportunities tonight and didn't take them. I don't know how MDA and the staff feel about Lin. I hope that he has been playing well in practice and is close to getting a real nod to play in the rotation.

Nix! C'mon - say it!

"mda is an ass for not playing Lin for at least some of TD's minutes cause it can't possibly be any worse!"

C'mon you can do it - say it! It will make you feel so much better

I enjoyed the effort. 4 things I saw...(1)the refs weren't Knicks fans, (2)we lost the game at the FT line by not getting there enough and by missing 4 that were part of 3 point plays, (3)defense was barely OK but that isn't enough against a good defensive team.....and (4)Knicks played like it mattered.

Fair points.

How about: Tony Douglass was awful (again) and he kills this team.
