shame but an excellent show of effort. atleast they didn't go quietly into the night.

6 minutes of effort vs 42 minutes of garbage is not an excellent show of effort.
I was talking about the 6 minutes of effort. Didn't you think it was excellent?

David Lee had the blunder of the game - lightly tapping duncan on that key play fouling him allowing the 3 point play inside... Horrible defense... he wasent in his face at all... It was baffling at that point in the game... Even the players we love are retarded.. i ****in hate this team!!!!

Yeah, but with all role players, he ends complaining that they don't hit shots and he can't wrack up his assist totals

I'm not saying that 4 role players around him is his game. But a couple of role players like Balkman and Malik were on the floor and it helped a ton. The defense was better and it allowed Steph to play his game.

[/quote]

I think Steph, throughout his career, has had more than enough opportunities to play with myriad types of lineups, all types, and what's come of it? Nothing but losing.

I'm not defending Stephon. You seem to get the impression that I'm doing that. I'm simply saying that I think Isiah isn't using him well at all. If Stephon isn't doing what he does best, he can hurt you a ton since he is so one-dimensional. Thats why I don't see why both him and Francis are on this roster. If you aren't going to get the most out of them, why have them on this roster?
"This is a very cautious situation that we're in. You have to be conservative in terms of using your assets and using them wisely. We're building for the future." - Zeke (I guess not protecting a first round pick is being conservative)

I'm serious. You can't deny we have talent. But yet we are horrible.

this game had very little to do with the spurs

please. the comeback had very little to do with the spurs, because they assumed the Knicks would coast for the final quarter the way they coasted for the first three. a comeback when the other team isn't looking barely counts. they're still beating us by double digits.

Dog what are you talking about - The game had nothing to do with the spurs because.. we could have been playing anyone out there, the problem is US... we are a bunch of lazy bumbling fools out there... The Spurs diddnt impress me at all besides a few clutch shots to seal the deal... But it was NOT about the spurs being that good.. it was about us being that bad, anyone with eyeballs can see that.

I thought the Spurs stopped paying attention because they thought the Knicks had no heart whatsoever. so they showed a little heart. they showed it against indiana, too. and the bottom line is that indiana and san antonio did whatever they wanted to against us when they needed to - that means we suck.

We heard before the game that Popovich would bury us to avenge Larry.

Fuck that. It didn't happen.

Popovich is smart enough to know that they don't get anything out of putting the pedal to the metal the entire game.

If the Spurs didn't lose interest after getting back up 15 there wouldn't have been a comeback.

The Spurs still almost lost the game.

The Knicks played harder for Isiah than they ever did for Larry.

So you admit the players quit last year and that's why they lost so many games.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System
