This team will be okay after they have some time to gel. Already, they're starting to have spurts where the ball movement and shot selection looks pretty good. Although Kobe beat us mostly, there were several occasions where defensive assignments were missed that led to open Laker shots. Once the Knicks get the defensive rotation and spacing down pat, it'll be much easier to win games like last night, even if someone goes off like Kobe did.

Another season, and more adversity to persevere through. We will get the job done, even BETTER than last year. GO KNICKS!

I cant say I am all that surprised...we dont have a defender who can stop Kobe (although most dont) so if other players can contribute and Kobe can run his game, they will beat us like last night. Our guards are too undersized.

But I think this team is moving in a positive direction, who cares about the losses, they are still finding themselves and when they do they will turn it around.

I was glad to see David Lee showing some outside range and confidence in his jumper.

The only way to beat a team with a superstar perimeter player is to mix up the defense. We should have gone zone and forced Kobe to jack up shots from the outside. I would even have gone as far as using the box and one. Have Frye, Butler down low and Lee and Marbury on top. Have Trevor chase Kobe all over the place. Yup...I would have done that.

Lee needs to play 25 minutes and be out there with Frye and Marbury.....He has a tremendous feel for the game and knows how to rebound, which he has down impressively.....

I like the Curry, Frye, Lee, Crawford, Marbury lineup the best out of any combination, once Lee develops more of an outside game ala Troy Murphy the lineup would really prosper.....

Some strong positives last night but this team has little chance of making the playoffs this year

I agree. I think Larry has to pare down his rotation to 8-9.

Start - Curry, Frye, Ariza, Q, Marbury
Bench - Lee, Nate, Butler, Rose

I am an Antonio Davis fan but I think he is done. Reminds me of Patrick when he got traded. His skills declined considerably in one year.

I included Rose because I like the hustle and muscle he gives.

Sorry but Rose...uhh, I don't think so. MoT would be a much much better choice than Rose.

It took me awhile to get back to this dumb comment especially Dad died five yrs ago and my Mom is not doing well at this time either, so please think before you write such comments, playing or not!.
