That doesn't sound as bad as Amare missing a full playoff game because he had a stitch in his hand.

Like I said, a chest contusion is a bruise. You claimed it was some sort of tear which it is NOT. The definition you posted uses the word BRUISE twice while not once making mention of a tear or tore or whatever it is that you previously claimed a contusion is.

Lin took a nice shot Sefalosha. Football hit without the padding. Ouch. Dude just takes too many hits.

Was that really necessary?
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

Bonn being Bonn. Unless your name is Tyson Chandler and his prized win shares, you gets no love.

I'd just like to see Nupe be consistent. He goes out of his way to criticize most former Knicks.

Silly Chucky. I've praised most of the team this year.

Oh ok then. I didnt see a quote or anything so I thought it was just a cheap shot at a Knick. All is good then.

Where did I critique or say anything about Lin? I spoke about what a chest contusion is and made no reference to Lin. You simply got all bent out of shape for no reason and now are claiming I criticized Lin when the truth is I have not really said much about Lin on this board for a few months now.

SMH.

Long story short, your statement regarding Amar'e was totally unnecessary and also totally inaccurate. Good Job!

I wouldn't call it praise, but maybe less critical of certain players due to all the winning. Tyson Chandler can never be in your doghouse somehow though.

At least you don't call Melo "Mister .470" anymore!

My standards are the same for each player. If Chandler has a large sample of inefficient scoring and poor performance in the other areas of the game, I will criticize him.
I've definitely praised, not just been less critical of, many players. They're just not the players on the team you like seeing praised.

You're right - it was Chuck, not you, mocking Lin. Sorry. I should have asked him to be consistent.

You're somewhat of a numbskull...

What happens is the muscles in the chest area are hit with so much force they separate or tear not from the bone but the tissues themselves, separate causing contusion/bruising....

The tearing of the muscle can also damage small blood vessels, causing local bleeding (bruising) and pain (caused by irritation of the nerve endings in the area).

Doesn't matter, x rays were negative so no tears or structural damage whatsoever. More pain threshold than anything.

If I'm McHale, I don't dare put Lin back in the series anyways, Patrick Beverley with Aaron Brooks backing him up is the best shot they got at winning a game or two.

There is no definition of contusion anywhere that will say it involves muscle tears. A bruise is NOT a muscle tear. The definition you posted stated a contusion is a bruise. It made no mention of a tear. You can spin and stretch and spam drivel all you like but a contusion by definition IS NOT a muscle tear.

BTW, in the game against Indiana where we were trying to clinch the 2nd seed, Melo left and didn't return because of a shoulder contusion

No muscle tears found on Lin but 3G4G will still claim a contusion is a muscle tear... LMAO!
