it really depends on what kind of superstar they had. Maybe if they had one that played D and wad a zone breaker. Maybe that Superstar gets them 132 points against that small line up.

Who really cares. What matters is if Denver wins the series then all the talk will slow down.

Who's a defensive superstar? Superstar almost always means high PPG player. Denver's hit hard with injuries and playing a close to 50 win team. Denver has a chance but I'd expect GS to win. They're hit at least as hard with injuries we were last year in the playoffs.

I don't consider him a superstar but Paul George would eat the Warriors alive. You elsr id hurt for Denver besides Gallo and Faried?

Denver is a deep team and should easily win the series. They are not dependent on one player. Denver fans have nothing to worry about.

Saw this in SBNation about Rose. If he can do these things in practice, he's going to really hear about it if the Bulls advance, and Rose sits out.

But then you see Joakim Noah gutting it out in the fourth quarter of Game 2 to help key a Bulls victory when he can barely walk, and you wonder how Rose can watch all of this. He's apparently been dominating practices for months. He puts on dunking exhibitions before seemingly every game, now throwing it down off his left foot without a problem. The team is still very much open to the idea of his return. When asked about Rose after Game 2, Luol Deng told reporters, "If Derrick comes in this locker room and says he wants to play tomorrow, his uniform is ready."

Guy always get outcoached in the playoffs. Only exception was when he had Gary Payton doing all the work in Seattle.

Dude he's been to 3 CF(with 3 different teams) and 1 Finals come on. The performance yesterday was DISGRACEFUL. Payton was a beast though and soon to be locked in HOFer.

Dude I know what George Karl is. Great regular season coach, lousy playoff coach. I still remember when he got Mutombo'ed in the 1st round after winning 63 games:

79 - 102 record, 43.6 winning percentage in the postseason. Not good.

Playoff tally only applies to Melo...GS had a few days to get acclimated to the altitude, it's paying off..."Strategery" of running them off the court in the second half have to be reexamined...

If the difference between 57 and 47 wins but Denver's got more injuries. That makes it pretty close. Now that GS has stolen home court advantage, I'd give them the edge.

more injuries than who, GS? Either way they're both without a starter and both teams have players playing through injury. Denver should win this series

Karl lost in the first round two years in a row with the Sonics and both of those years his teams got to 60 wins or were very close.

Tight game - Rockets and Thunder. Looks like Westbrook just got hurt and is pissed. Looked like Beverly was just playing solid D and rather than giving up on the play before the timeout was official.

at the moment it seems like this might be the game that the Rockets "steal"...for some unkown reason however as much as I'd like that to happen I see OKC winning this one in the end.
Durant needs to cool off for the Rockets to have any chance, that and/or Harden just going insane.

McHale made a couple of good adjustments though, that Beverley guy is really impressive, he's all up in Westbrook's face.

the intensity of the playoffs really shows when it comes to dunks...we haven't even played half of the 1st round yet and we've already been witness to dozens of ferocious slams, I'm loving it for one

Report is a bruised muscle in his right chest. I didn't see him go out but... Makes you wonder if he would have his shoulder popped back in to play in a game like cope. Also the guys timeline for healing from his meniscus was quite a bit longer then some.

Ron Artest came back in like a month from meniscus surgery.
