Houston's seeding shouldn't factor into the Lin discussion since every PO team in the WC has guards that would abuse Lin. OK maybe not the Lakers. LOL!

8th seed teams unless they are surging to get that last spot are not usually very good teams.

Lin is the starting point on rebuilding team playing his first full season.

Its not an excuse, its reality.

Lebron James letting everyone know he is now immune to any form of criticism by wearing this sweater:

All he needs are the oversized shades to complete the douchebag look.

Also, he needs to just come home and shave his head. You can win all the titles you want - you're not going to defeat Father Time.

I hope you see how sloppy Lin is playing and it has nothing to do with McHale's coaching....

Have to agree with this. Whats with blaming Mchale every time Lin plays badly?

Lebron's sweater is actually pretty nice.

Westbrook looked like an extra from "The Warriors".

Is Noah playing tonight? He could barely jog in the second half of the last game.

A two guard team isn't gonna beat the Heat. All they have is Jennings-Ellis.

I never once expected them to win, or frankly even take a game.
But Jennings is giving it his all, which is the only right thing to do and I applaude him for his attitude.

I'm sitting here waiting to see when Homerism pays huge dividends. Hey I like Lin and he almost finished the season where I projected him to be at season's begin but he can be hella sloppy at times and lacks focus on both ends to be considered worthy of heavy minutes on the court.

DurzoBlint wrote:excellent thread Nalod. Sort of an "around the league" thread that every forum can use. Maybe this can be stickied because people will continue to post here throughout the season.

I was watching the Laker game and, I might have mentioned it here before but, I can't see Kobe and Nash working. Kobe is not a catch and shoot guy and Nash needs the ball in his hands to be effective. I expect he'll make Dwight look great. Gasol as well.

Wow, didn't Know Eddy got cut by the Mavs Nalod. Despite ripping the Knicks off, I was kind of pulling for him

Its kind of why I started it. I saw others were posting another game watched on random thread and thought on any given nite there are games on that someone is watching. Like the nite Kobe hung 81pts!

Its a great thread. I watch whatever game is on most nights and like the chatting here.

I will share my words on how Lin handled the pressure of the playoffs when the series is over not after one game. Houston really shot itself in the foot falling to 8th last day of the season. Its like the NBA wanted Harden vs OKC and Lakers vs Spurs

They definitely wanted that for the lakers and they definitely wanted the lakers in over utah. I am surprised more hasn't been made of the 51-16 free throw discrepancy in the Warrior game.

Nice comeback effort by the Bulls after being routed. Im so thorn on who to root for. Im not really sure who would make the better match-up against the Heat. The Bulls have the amazing defense but the Nets have a more rounded package and a Center that will cause them problems.
