The way they took control of the second half in game 3 was ridiculous we cracked the code and were up 7 and it was looking like the momentum swung in our favor… but the refs stepped in and secured the win for the spurs and because we are so good they really had to help them . 24 Ft to 8ft

Your telling me the spurs only fouled us 4 times on shots ? In the second half ….

They have to do better Adam silver has to do better make the call and tell them to stop and call a fair game for 48 min .

Not sure if people saw Wemby's close out on Josh's corner three. Josh came down on Wemby. No foul called so no review possible. 10x worse than Brunson because Wemby actually closed recklessly. Brunson was 2 feet inside the line and had already turned around. When you see these things, you can't unsee them.

the league should at least acknowledge the flubs and say they're trying to do their best rather than pretend we're delusional

I was glad to see Clarkson come in and not wilt and actually hit some shots. He's not the same guy he was but he's pretty smart and plays well with others, including Mitch.

Depth is for times like this. Heck put in Diawara too for additional length and 3 pt shooting and he can bring the ball up.

He won't be suspended though because a flagrant would only give him 3 penalty points. He would only get suspended if he gets another flagrant OR if the Brunson one is ruled a flagrant TWO, but that seems unlikely.

Hope they do the right thing though, because he shouldn't be getting away with that nonsense. Even my wife who doesn't watch NBA saw that and said it was so dirty and not basketball.

I asked Chat GPT (full disclosure) and it said flagrant can be ruled after the game even if no foul called during game or if no review. apparently it can't be used to change that game's outcome (makes sense) but can be used as points for suspension, fines etc. I mean honestly this makes sense. What if a guy punched someone in the face when no one was looking. Can't just say, sorry no one saw that.

I would hope that the Knicks get to submit the Alvarado play and the Josh closeout too under the legal notion of "totality of the circumstances" to show wemby's a maniac out there.

I just saw the clip with Monty McCutchen talking about this, and he said the whole game is reviewed. Obviously the talk was about the shove, but if it's the whole game they should also consider the Josh closeout. That was 10x more reckless than the F1 they called on Jalen, and Josh landed on Wemby's shin (not foot because he was so far under) but Josh didn't flop
