They have changed the rules so much that you can now take 4 or 5 steps and it not be a travel. You can now take another step after establishing you pivot foot.The whole point of the pivot foot is because you can't take any more steps so you can't lift that foot until a pass or shot. |

It's something thats spreading fast and because the NBA only cares about scoring which brings excitement and money, they ignore the fundamentals of the game. So when a young dude travels now, all he says is, they do it in the NBA. That doesn't mean it's not a travel. SMH That Euro step RJ did in the paint was a travel as well. Just because he took 2 steps nobody is talking about it. But when you stand on one leg for a while, then step with your next leg, then shoot. This has to stop. We might as well play rugby.
