When I played ball, first rule was accountability. Second was always welcome a tough competitive battle with your opponent. Guess you did not have the same environment .

I’m seeing the same issues I’ve seen with thibs since he arrived. And the only answers I keep hearing is thibs needs better players. We need an all star. But last night was the perfect opportunity to see what our backup or bench can do. And Thibs decides to play deuce 46 mins? The game before he played deuce less than 10 mins (side bar opportunity on deuce mins played 🤣 I know it’s coming).

Now I hear cam has checked out. And I’m kinda surprised EF hasn’t checked out yet. I heard a fan say this about seeing cam live verses the other players during shoot around. My point is when you remove a player, this has to be done very carefully or the player should be in aggreement. If that’s the case then so be it. If not, just more strange unanswered issues surrounding thibs.

So when you remove a player, what happens when you have injuries and u need them to play like last game. They are completely checked out. Besides the cam is waiting to be traded conspiracy. What’s your take on a coach removing a player completely from the roster vs keeping them on the roster and reduce their mins. What’s your take on that and Thibs in general, as far as rotations, lack of adjustments like against the Dallas game and overall his rigidity and lack of offensive execution. Toronto player called on thibs defense. Then recently Jamal Crawford questions thibs defense on Luca.

That’s what I would like to hear from you, not a stat or English correction response. I have no clue on your stance with anything. And I’ve been on this site for over 20yrs

Thibs is married to winning (not players) by any means necessary. Case in point he benched his grandson and replaced him with deuce.

He did not bench him because he’s the best player and that’s a reckless move. I said hold him accountable. When he does his spin turnovers, and shoots 1 for 12 from 3, sit him. He’s doing that with RJ now. And Thibs manages Randle different which is fine. You manage your players to get the best out of them. And so far thibs is doing that now.

Thibs is playing the yoots sir. Not sure what your talking about. Everything I wanted thibs to do, he did it. So I’m happy.

Deuce was given the opportunity to shine and he showed flashes. Clearly not ready for prime time playoff time and hart was the right move. All I said was play the yoots and stop the guessing. We see what we have and now make decisions in the off season.

So thibs checked all my boxes.

Next is in game adjustments. But when you have a solid team and add a solid glue guy, they can help cover up any small issues with the coach or team. Hart is a life saver and he personally change the second unit.

And let’s be clear. I said the yoots (IQ, Grimes and Deuce) should play more than Kemba, EF and Burks. All 3 are not playing and the yoots are. Check.

Throw sims in there. He even started over Hart. Never saw that coming but thibs did it and it worked. Now fans get to see how their young players look against nba players (not gleague players).

Can’t wait to see how he fits in Mitch.

I see the issue here. In my world there’s no right or wrong in an open forum. Nobody works for the organization. And everybody brings their opinions.

Also if you have dry comedy (I do as well), it never comes across well in a chat. Also I’m not petty and don’t care about copying and pasting someone’s post. That’s called extreme petty so that clearly separates us from having any real or serious convo. I stay away from petty people.

I try to keep the convos like in real life. And face to face their no copy and paste. I see you love this platform because it allows you to be this person you are now. For me I try to be real and far from petty. I can copy and paste your convos all day. And you know what, 20 yrs ago I would’ve.

I did my annual Offseason Season Prediction Thread but i made sure to state A.) I'm not nuts enough to predict 60 wins again but B.) I predicted Top-3 seed. Because I really believed in this team and this COACH the entire time for now 3 years.

Never hurts to put pride aside for a better future ride.

If anyone is a flip flopper, especially one who has strong opinions and does not like other posters challenging those opinions they tend to get called to the mat....especially if the flip flopping is fairly recent.

I actually admire Mentality for having a thick skin. He often takes a beating on this board for some overly optimistic takes - like in the 60 win thread. He has also been stalked by Phil about apparently some NYJ takes on some other board.....yet he keeps at is without complaining.

So my take is different. I rather have the freedom to speak and be open and honest in the moment. So I appreciate that with chats. But chats is also where people including myself, will ramble and say something that’s a strong opinion but not aligned to my core values. I will need an example to go any further into that. But for example, maybe I don’t like thibs red shirt that day. A month later I post a picture wearing a red shirt. Am I flip flopping? If that’s what you call it fine. I call it being a human and not a robot. Humans change. And when it’s not aligned to a core value I probably will change. Who knows. But that’s my right. Again just need an example. I’m not going to remember ever ramble which that’s all this is. I ramble in person and ramble in chat. Quickly hit send so that I don’t lose the rambling reply because the site says (please sign in). And I have to start over. So there will be typos and mistakes I type. Give an example and I will respond to that one or two examples.

I hate flip floppers like the next person. Call me out is fine with me. If I remember I will respond to it like I just did to NYK. I stand by my words and give credit where it’s needed.

My only complaint is this copy and pasting stuff is silly if the topic isn’t aligned to anything I feel is important. If it’s important to someone else and they want me to address it I will. And I will clarifying my stance. Because when something is more important to someone else, they will read my words a hell of a lot closer than what I typed. So I have to go backwards and restate what I meant because I say a lot of unfiltered stuff and that’s a no no in an open chat. Face to face it’s nipped in the but eight there. In chat it lives on for ever until someone digs up a grave of memories and challenges every sentence (lmao). That’s all I’m saying. I will not remember every details only that sentence but I will give you my stance on that specific example if you ask me. what I said at that time. That’s what I mean by chat va face to face.
