didn't force that much ... was just plain terrible. Also, he did not really look to create open shots for his mates.

He wasn't that bad. gross exaggeration. He isn't the point guard. He has had great passing games this season. He isn't gonna do that every night especially when he doesn't have his legs. Just like KP had a quiet game last night. It's a team game. Great Win.

Relax, man. Let the Melo-haters have their moment. It's kind of amusing if you just step back a bit.

Lol you are right..it's comical

I can't tell if he had a bad game or not by your posts. lol. Game threads are awesome. He sucked, you idiot, loser, forcing shots, ballsy, he never creates, steeped up big, hustled on D.

Melo is holding players 14.5% below their avg so the stats seem to back up what you are seeing.

Oh okay, when guys are saying outright F you, that' not hating. News to me. If the comment doesn't apply to YOU, don't get offended by it. So sensitive.

great win despite melo (which a very good thing)

0 assists and 3 turnovers. If you have tired legs, make plays for your teammates. He is just not that type of star. If he is hitting his shot then he is great, if he is not, he is bleh

Truthfully Melo should've sat out tonight.

Fisher should seriously consider sitting Melo on the back end of back to backs.

Dickhead didn't help at all

I was shocked at Fisher being able to handcuff Melo to the bench tha long

Fun game. So much to say about Porzingis. One thing that amazes me is how you watch the game and it looks like a Rocket is going to get the rebound and Porzingis comes flying across the screen from outside the frame to grab the board.

Calderon had a nice game but a couple of times he kicked it out for a three when he was under the basket, and all he had to do was lay it up, had plenty of space. Both times it resulted in a 3, but dont believe you should pass up an easy layup for a higher difficulty shot. It was very Prigs like.

Grant is looking more comfortable out there but still seems a bit skiddish. Confident that will go away by the end of the season.

Fisher and the staff should monitor Melo's minutes in a back to backs, looked like he was suffering the effects of 2 games in 2 nights. He's pushing 30 so its best for the staff to watch his minutes, long season.

I know Galloway made an all rookie squad, but I get the feeling other players are still saying "Who is this guy?" Have to admit that in the back of my head Im wondering if there will be a dropoff. Not looking that way right now.

Clarence Gaines for GM, he's earned a shot. I get the feeling that Mills will take over for Phil after he's gone and Gaines should be the leading candidate for GM. Phil will have his successor in Gaines, and Dolan will have his successor in Mills, everybody wins.

My dudes, he was in foul trouble. He also hit an insanely important shot or two in the fourth quarter and shot 5-10 and had 14pts and 6rebs in 23miniutes and played very good defense.

No need to pick sides. KP won it tonight, Melo won it last night.

Dude had no legs, it was obvious. Not picking sides.

If you can't play effectively, just sit and rest.

Maybe that's why he only played 23min?

Fisher subbed him out of defense at the end of the 4th offense-defense, because Melo wasn't helping.

Then subbed him back in offense, because at least he's a decoy

Played 35 minutes in a really tough game last night and had to come back tonight.

Kind of glad he did not get the rest because we still needed him to get the win tonight, despite the sub-par game.

25pts 12rebs 8blks

Its the reliabilty that impresses me the most. Nothing really flashy about him, just very steady. He was a bit wild at times last season, Galloway has elevated his game.

Had a very good game for the most part. Knicks really played him tough at the end, though. Played some tough D, too.

The real issue is whether he was playing like this for most of the year, and if his bad play got McHale fired.

i look at his career, not 10 games.

I don't recall hating the guy over his career. Dislike him more now because I like McHale, and he did not deserve to get axed.

Also recall him acting like an idiot to reporters when he had that terrible playoff series, I think.

He's another diva at times, too...will fit in well with his girl's family.

McHale seems to have gotten fired for 10 games and not his career...and I expect that Harden might hear some more boos this year.

If he got Mchale fired then that is not cool. Never heard him act like a dik to the press. Maybe he did, I just did not hear it.

I don't really like or hate guys off the court. To me they are all diks and its all how they play on the court.

Harden is a top 5 player and is entertaining as hell.
