Kidd was crucial this game. His defensive stops were key.
Knicksfan: Hypocrite league that fines players after the game for flopping but in the game and with obvious flopping they call the fouls.

Awesome. What a rollercoaster. Great win. Kenyon and Kidd need to play a lot more than Tyson and Shump.

Im very happy with the 4th quarter. the defense was excellent. Hopefully we move the ball better next game but im happy for the win

Boston got a taste of their own medicine. Shut Down. With the exception of a very brief 7 pt deficit, we kept it to 3-4 pts for most of the game in spite of being flat offensively. They kept their composure. Kidd showing why he was signed.

What a game. A real grinder. Knicks came to play defensively in the 4th quarter. Unbelievable play down the stretch from Kidd and Martin. Whole team did a great job of creating turnovers and getting into the passing lane. When they needed the dagger, Melo brought it.

Add Pablo Prigioni to this mix and its gets interesting

Our bench wore the Celtics down. Jeff Green became the invisible man in the second half.

During a grind of a series our quality depth will be the difference.

Who said Mike Woodson does not make adjustments?

Very tough game and it's going to be a tough series.

Glad to have Game 1 down. Gotta win Game 2, take at least 1 on the road and finished them off back home.

The defense at the end was great. Offense didn't really do much better in the second half but the Celtics played some great defense. I think this team is a good test for future teams like the Pacers and Heat. We have to know what tough defense feels like and Game 1 was tough. Glad to see we can hang in there defensively and grind games out.

Jason Kidd was the MVP for me.

Refs let some fouls go at the end to even it out. That's a tough pill to swallow late.
