This game was a complete utter embarrassment. It proved exactly what I think will be the downfall of this team....

Chase us off the 3pt line and make us shoot 2pt shots we're not accustomed to, or contested 3s, or contested 2s we're in trouble because the team prefers and primarily looks for 3s. We're used to playing a certain way after 20gms+ into the season. We are who we are, a jump shooting 3ball top heavy team.

Also if we make or miss all teams need to do is take the ball and go... we're in trouble.

But what took the cake tonight for pure disgrace was very late in the game Douglas is about to check in and the PA-Emcee has the Gall/Gumption/Balls to play.....

"TEACH ME HOW TO DOUGIE"

full blast. You've got to be KIDDing me?

Lin proved tonight for this game he's just as good if not better than Felton all he needs is time and experience. I believe Melo or no Melo we would have lost as they handled us in Houston with Melo.

The only positive tonight was Copeland.....whatever

I am not worried about tonight - I know we will get healthier

I am worried and have been for a while about how Felton runs our offense

These are valid concerns and will bite us in the ass come playoff time

This is what I could not stand about baron davis

He only plays like this when he needs to be the first shooting option if we are talking observations. A fully healthy team Felton won't even have a opportunity to put up 20 + shots. When we have all our options he plays way better. He is reverse Lin. Lin plays better when he has less options to pass to and worse when he is a 2nd/3rd option. He wasnt the cause of tonight's loss..it was the full team loss. Especially defensively.

So you like Felton as a PG and don't believe he takes awful shots even with Melo on the floor?

There is a reason why we got him so cheap - you get what you pay for.

its always against the rockets

"Always"?

We've played them twice. Once on the tail end of a back-to-back, once with out Melo (among others). No excuses, we put up duds, and that's on us.

But I'll tell you what. When Lin lays down on his couch tonight and says his bedtime prayers, I guarantee he will thank God he did not have to go head to head against #21 this season.

I wanted revenge, but ultimately November/December games against a .500 team in the Western Conference is not my concern. 18-6, not as nice as 18-5, but still enough to tell me this team can focus on the game ahead.

fairweather fans. all of you

Call me a sore loser, but never fairweather.

Lots of emotional fair weather fans on here. 18 and 6 and let's trade Felton for Lin. ridiculous.

This. I can't even take most of the posters on this board serious tonight. Will watch the OKC game now and call it a night on UK. You have a few people who have been waiting to say I told you so regarding Lin and are taking that opportunity to do so tonight, maybe. Dunno. All this ranting in solely in relation to Felton is laughable seeing as Kidd and a few others played like crap also.

I'll take the rest for Melo in this meaningless game.

I'm looking at the big picture.

We lost. Let's move on and get everyone healthy for the Nets game.

I don't think it's that serious.

It's a long season, teams are bound to have a few stinkers.

Let's rub our wounds with saw dust and move on into the twilight. Only way to go.

Most of Copeland's points came in garbage time minutes.

We weren't ready tonight. We got owned. It happens. Got to move on and play better next game.

I'm more pissed with the effort. It's not what I've come to expect this year. Tell me this was the best that Felton could do, and I would say okay. It's not. How does Lin glide to the hole, but my team goes 5 for whatever from the outside. You go to the hole. You subsititue the player(Felton) so that he gets a different perspective on the game. A bad gameis a bad game. How many times did he look off Copeland to take the bad shot. Too many times. As I said earlier; sometimes Ray looks to do too much.

I feel you but I'm not sure it was all Felton. Most guards in the league are going to get by u. The help defense was pretty bad tonight especially Copland early. Melo being out effected more than just the offense. Then with sheed out the first big off bench is Kurt. No shot blockers when he sat hurt also. Lot more to it then just saying Felton played lousy defense which I don't think he did. Wasn't his best but wasn't bad.

With him shooting too much I really think that comes from woody with melo out. He was 7/18 but rest out team didn't do better raises jr and copeland

I hope we never face the Rockets ever again.

Just don't match up well against them.

Aside from the "trade him for Lin" post (which im pretty sure was a joke), the posts I've seen about him are just people basically calling him out for his horrific play tonight. I dont get why criticizing someone keeps getting called hate.
