Woodson gets the game ball with Lin. He was going to bring in Chandler and then the current group got hot so he changed his mind and went with them the rest of the game.

What a game! both offense are stuck with good defense.. we are lucky enough Lin getting better in the 4th quarter... This win is very2 hard working team effort.. unfortunately Jarred injured his knee again :(

Most satisfying win of the season. Way to gut it out. I'm really impressed how resilient this team has been under Woodson, so far. "They hit us with everything they've got but we ain't goin' nowhere". Fing love that.

Melo's wrist might be affecting him but I believe its a confidence issue more than anything else. The best looking shots lately have been on a catch and shoot instead of isos. Less time to over think things like he would with an iso, if he isn't feeling it.

Stat is looking better defensively than I've seen him since him in a while. Lin is fearless, takes a beating and keeps going right at them. Great job and the kind of performance we'll need in the playoffs.

Great Win tonight. Another win without the Three falling which I think is big. Another game without a big shooting night from Melo. Like some fans said J.R. Smith is an underated defender and with his size he would allow the Knicks to be versatile. Tonight the closed with Smith at the 3, Melo at the 4, and STAT at the 5. It really opened up the floor for Lin. Eventhough Melo is struggling shooting and exploding off the ground his presence is still respected by the other team. Also, the PnR with him and Lin has been money all year except for the one play tonight but it was still a good play. I like that they recognized after that play that play that Melo did not have it going and went away from it and called STAT to come up and set the pick. Moving forward that for mentioned Line up can work against any Eastern team except maybe Orlando.

Lastly, I think Woodson is really preaching D and Novak better start focusing more or else his minutes are going to keep decreasing. I like his energy on D but he continues to over extend on the hedge. The only time he could play was when Hawes was out there with him it seemed. I still think Woodson should give him some more burn but I see where he is coming from and like the fact that he is preaching D regardless how well Novak is shooting.

Waiting on the video for that touch pass from Melo to Amar'e. Happened so fast in real time, I thought it was a TO.

This is soooo much better when your not pitting this player against that player. Everything works better when everybody works together.

He is but I want to see him in better position and rebound better. Jimmy Dykes(ESPN NCAAM analyst) always comment about how what makes Davis of UK such a good defender is that he makes blocks because he is in positions as opposed to defenders who blocks shots because they're out of position. Well STat is blocking shots because he is out of position not because he is in position. However, he is picking up the switch better and did not leave the shooter at the top of the Key. The Defense is in there and I liked that tonight we got to see that.

We won without Melo and Novak being on their game. This could have been an even more decisive win if those guys are hitting. It made it even more impressive cuz this team hasn't backed off on it's defensive intensity. Now they have 3 winnable games and they MUST keep up this Defense!!!

I just love that quote from Woody during the 3rd quarter when the Sixers were making a run.

"Right now they're hitting us with everything they got.....and we aint going nowhere!!"

Some men see things as they are and ask why. I dream things that never were and ask why not?

Don't go Granger with the "winnable" games stuff. That is a jinx.
