Nice that you are playing better but if you dont get a few wins soon, it's gonna be all for nothing.

Despite some stupid mistakes, Lin showed some brilliance today in his limited minutes. Anyone catch that quick assist to STAT off the drive?

This is the C's they take away your #1 and #2 option. Did you even watch the damn game? Pay freaking attention. They will double your primary scorers and leave the wings open. That's why we had Shump and Fields open. Learn the damn game!!!

lol no point in getting worked up over lack of bball knowledge.

....you pay freaking attention. I don't understand the point of having 2 of the better scorers in the nba with a offensive minded coach. His coaching has been exactly that; offensive. You HAVE to figure out a way to get them the ball. The Novak decoy was so obvious everyone knew it was coming, and I apparently didn't even watch the damn game.

A loss tomorrow should be the nail in the coffin

The fans love to just blame the coaches but the players are just as responsible. we had a good lead and the once again our players ****ed it up. Im not defending d'antoni buts its very comical how people refuse to blame players

Except for some lucky shots, the Knicks got plenty of stops against Doc's plays. The only thing that had that worked was the curl to Allen. Knicks stopped everything else. PLEASE GIVE IT A BREAK!!!

Seriously this hero-worshipping of other coaches and players who are doin some fairly ordinary things gets old pretty quick. We played very good defense today, they made their three poiners we missed ours. Doc Rivers didn't do some magic, if anything we had better gameplan.

Something tells me Doc would not continue to play TD when its obvious he is hurting the team. Doc is not afraid to get in his star players faces when the situation calls for it. If you don't see that and would rather stick with our current coach then more power to you. Just don't tell me what I should or should not be doing.

I thought Lin had some moments, but I wouldn't say he's gonna turn this team around or anything. He just needs to keep playing well and improving. I think they wanted to give him a taste of real action and still bring him along at a reasonable pace. I wanted to see him again, but at the same time they probably felt he left with a good feeling about his game and didn't want to push it, knowing the C's would turn up the D, as they always do.

Too many bricked or airball threes.. but I think most of us are mad at the decision to put TD in (and our lead was promplty squandered), and that last.. play .. of the game. I don't even blame MDA for the technical, but his rotation was very curious

@nixluva

Its sad but I doubt anybody expected TD ti play this bad. Is his arm that bad that is making him look like this? He had been a lead guard before and played decently. So far this season it has been atrocious. Pretty sad...

Lin may not turn the team around right away but he deserves a chance. The season is almost lost its about the future now

to be honest man we have no depth. Harrellson was our best bench player but he is out. Now people know why some didn't want that trade to go down too risky for depth and chemistry reasons. cant blame the coach

even with no depth, I think everyone expected us to be better than this though. The fact that depending on a low 2nd round pick is concerning..

The test is to make sure we beat nj tomorrow

We will continue to play to the level of our competition....Until we get two way players around Melo and Stat, we will continue to have these ugly games.

Jefferies and Chandler are great defenders...but suck on offense.

Novak is a great shooter, but sucks on defense.....

Ill Will was really our only two way player....Without two way players, we will continue to look sorry against most teams....

Thats why somebody like JR Smith would look solid on this team, because he has the lateral quickness to play defense, and shooting ability to hit open jumpers when they double. Otherwise, thats the game plan for every team....Just double melo and stat....you win!

Exactly where did I tell you what you should be doing? I told you what you do is irritating. I also didn't say I would keep MDa over Doc Rivers, I said TODAY Doc didnt do anything special so I found the hero worshipping a bit thick. If you want to overreact to that feel free to.

TKF on Melo ::....he is a punk, a jerk, a self absorbed out of shape, self aggrandizing, unprofessional, volume chucking coach killing playoff loser!!

I think you are disregarding the iq of fans on this forum if you are saying stuff like that. Douglas has been a liability on the court. Lin had some good minutes in the first half in an intense game. There is a reason the guys getting paid to commentate on the game questioned D'Antoni's decision to bring in the the guy that has been the liability. I don't think anyone on here sees Lin as the savior. I think he is seen as the lesser of two evils at a position where the Knicks have nothing.

relax man im not insulting anybody jeseu christ. Im making a joke but at the same time lin hasn't prove anything yet on a consistent basis. D'antoni gave him some minutes and he did good and he halso had a tough time. You can't just throw him into a bigtime situation against a good team. You gotta bring him along slowly and if he continues to play well then you maybw start him. Hope i didn't question anybody's IQ lol

JVG would be the last guy to talk about playing guys like Lin. Guys like JVG play vets with a reputation and TD despite playing horrible has experience in these kinds of games. You have to hope he snaps out of it and has a good game. Just last week, Fields was playing like Doo Doo and now he's back. The same for STAT and Melo. This is why MDA is trying to be patient with TD. He's also trying to get Lin going it's a balancing act. You don't wanna lose a player but at the same time you want to protect the team. Still he's shown patience with everyone else and they're playing well now, so...
